The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
If Josh McDaniels doesn't know how to do anything he sure as he knows how to tear a team down.
Most hated man in America.

11 games started - 2021 - 55 receptions
6 games started - 2022 - 28 receptions
Entering age 31 season. Locked in long term.
Curious to see the compensation.

Jimmy G is being sold as a better “culture fit” than Carr.
Read into that what you will. On both ends.

All left is Baker Mayfield
The Carolina Panthers and free agent quarterback Andy Dalton are expected to reach an agreement on a two-year, $10 million deal that includes $8 million fully guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

I’ve barely followed the Aaron Rodgers saga and I’m already over it. This is silly.

Yeah, giving me some lebron The Decision vibes. It will be funny if he puts on this big show and ends up being dogshit while getting slapped around in the AFC.Primeminister wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:00 pm I’ve barely followed the Aaron Rodgers saga and I’m already over it. This is silly.
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Texans have four 6th rounders - which one do we get?
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
David Montgomery going to Lions. This probably opens the door for Ekeler to go to Bears via trade. Word is they have been talking with Chargers about trade.

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
I thought about that, but honestly Lebron was and is a greater player. Plus he was younger & shifted the power dynamic in the entire sport. Does anyone think Rodgers leads the Jets to the AFCCG? Hell no. So this is a lot of hot air about nothingBucsNBills wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:09 pmYeah, giving me some lebron The Decision vibes. At this point what’s his market?BucsNBills wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 8:21 am Today is the first day teams can actually communicate and negotiate with Lamar. Wonder what news awaits us all
Carolina - Traded for #1 overall
Atlanta - Signed Heineke to better than backup money
NY Jets - Rodgers debacle dumpster fire fiasco
Raiders - Jimmy G
Saints - Carr
Seattle - Geno
That leaves only a handful of QB needy teams still out there. The Colts and Texans are both in line to draft a top QB. Washington? Tampa?
We have no money and the Commanders are a mess.
Pretty obvious it’s Baltimore or bust.

His salary and guaranteed contract demands have priced himself out of any market. LJ can sit out the year and get offered less than what the Ravens offer him or agree to sign a contract that has already been offered by the Ravens.BucsNBills wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 8:21 am Today is the first day teams can actually communicate and negotiate with Lamar. Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
That’s insane.
Top 4: Hurts, Stafford, Cousins, and Dak. Probably in that order, but could interchange a bit.
5th spot is up for grabs. Right now it’s probably Carr, I guess? Not a high ceiling at this point but the floor with him is still… fine.
Baker’s upside is enough to sneak in the top 5 of that group this season based on his physical talent and what he’s shown. It’ll come down to coaching and scheme.
I say that with all sincerity and not because he’s here now; also with the full understanding that his floor is that he could spiral and get benched.

No kyler in your top 5?Deja Entendu wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 10:21 pmThat’s insane.

He’s obviously talented enough to not be on the bottom on the list, but he’s the last person on that list that I would want on my team.
They say where there’s smoke there’s fire, and the smoke coming from AZ has burning ash with it.
Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Gotta agree here. Talent is there but the others are solidly more accomplished than he is.Deja Entendu wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 10:35 pmDefinitely not.

Re: The Official 2023 NFL Off-Season Thread
Kyler is very talented (top 5-7) in nfl, one could argue but non-verbal, seemingly lazy, and an alleged coach killer (KK may just suck. Probably does).
