Breaking: University of Washington coach Kalen DeBoer is negotiating a contract to replace Nick Saban at Alabama Football, sources told Chris Low and Mark Schlabach.

Wonder if Norvell found out he's not getting job and saved face by saying "I'm staying." That's usually how these things go. DeBoer a great hire for Bama. Kudos to them. Somewhere, Kiffin and Dabo are pissed because I think they wanted that job bad.

Maybe. But it got him a brand new contract. So either way he comes out a winner here.
