MDB 1958 coined the phrase "anticipatory disappointment." The Bucs could secure a playoff berth by defeating the Panthers tomorrow. I hope we are not going to be subject to "anticipatory disappointment."
I'm gonna throw a name at ya - Dylan Laube for what would be a hopeful freebie for us.
He's an interesting prospect, and has an invite to the Senior Bowl. It'll be interesting to see how he stacks up against better competition. If he balls out, I could see him being a late round pick, even from such a small school.

Nevermind, Draftbuzz has him as the 12 RB off the board. We will have to burn a pick on him.
If he checks out and teams believe he will be that guy, he won't drop at all. This is basically Eli Manning all over again if this is true. They made it very clear they didn't want to go to San Diego.

I understand all that. It was just making an off-the-cuff remark. It would, however, go on the con side of my draft board pros and cons section.

He's still weak minded and immature
That's my bigger fear. Williams's ability to throw a football ain't the problem, but the kind of guy who wants ownership stake in the franchise that drafts him and wants to pick that franchise has unrealistic expectations to say the least.

Being weak-minded and immature is ultimately what destroyed Josh Freeman's career. Not the coach as @Babeinbucland posited.

I remember saying that about a former QB of ours. I was right. You might be as well in this situation. I don't know enough about him, but from what I read, I think you have a good grasp on the situation.
