Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Yeah, you seem to have no faith in the Bucs when they play the Lions. That's your problem. @Babeinbucland

The birdie's defense, specifically tackling, was a masterclass in "Who? Me?"
Push the damned button already!
Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Losing games 5,6,7,and 8 amplified the matter.

I'm curious about what would happen if AJ
Brown played in the game ?. would the score be the same?

Re: Rapid Reactions: Bucs trounce defending NFC Champion Eagles 9-32
Brown hobbling out there might have changed how we approached the game, but I don't think he was ever seen at practice this week so if he could even run at all will always be a mystery.
If your asking if a healthy AJ Brown was out there, yeah, I think the Eagles score more points.

Had to listen to the game on the radio while driving back from a family thing, what a great game to listen to. Can't wait to watch the dvr of the game tonight.
Knew the game was won when I could hear the Bucs fans cheering and relative silence when the Eagles had a good play (few and far between). Was fun listening to the announcers slowly change during the game from 'when will Philly exert their will?' to 'Philly has no answers.'
Going into this season with no expectations/hopes other than seeing Mike continue his streak to where we are at now is just an awesome feeling/experience. That's one helluva locker room at 1 Buc - and GM's office. Kudos to everyone.
Mr. Bowles, win next week and I'll almost forgive you for the Rams game debacle.

Our approach would have no doubt changed on defense. I doubt we play as much single high. As a result, the Eagles probably run more against our lighter boxes. Who knows what the outcome would've been but we would have game planned differently.

For those of you waiting to see Gene Deckerhoff's play calls on YT highlights, apparently YT is blocking it. At least according to this guy, but he managed to get hold of it and has posted it on his channel.

I was sitting in close to the pirate ship when I saw Ric Flair there. That was awesome.

That account posts highlights with the local announcers for both Bucs and Lightning games. One of the ways I follow the team up here in Philly. Really good follow.

This week’s Ronde breaking down plays should be special after his promo before the game.

I was reading their forums. Fire everyone! Hurts is a fraud! Fun stuffCentral_Buc wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 10:50 am I was listening to Philly media podcasts, they are SALTLY as fuck, calling it like how could they lose to the Bucs who are mediocre and irrelevant.

this might be the best stat of the entire gm.Bootz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 11:08 am The snap counts for this game showed that our coaching staff is learning and adapting.
Basically went with a single safety look for most of the night, as they had no real threat other than Devonta Smith with AJ Brown being out. Britt & Gaines played a lot to help with the run, even though they ran a lot less than expected. Ryan Neal played no snaps on defense.

I know we got spoiled by Brady, but that was still a top 10 enjoyable W for me. Always hated the Eagles, and was just such an important game for the organization. If the D sucked maybe Bowles is canned and if Baker sucked maybe we’d be going full blown rebuild. But to win how we did, I have confidence in both Bowles and Baker and think we should be a good team for the foreseeable future.

That game was enjoyable, I agree, but top 20 for me. The most enjoyable game I've ever been to is the King-led Bucs over Rams in 2000, I believe.real bucs fan wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 11:37 pm I know we got spoiled by Brady, but that was still a top 10 enjoyable W for me.
