Why did Yaya out do Will Anderson? And don't you think you will watch someone else pick Verse.

All y'all whining about dead cap. Would you rather have had that SB win or lots of cap space with no SB win?

I'd say if Yaya "outdid" Anderson it was because Yaya is closer to being a finished product than Anderson at this point. That said, a 7 sack season for Yaya is likely as good as it gets while Anderson has a much higher ceiling.

Not on my team so I don't care, my eyeball is on Darius Anderson. I'd like to game plan with multiple variations of a four man rush. I still believe a stronger IDL helps everything and then if we can get stronger knowing our star CB's will layout a set number of games it will also help - it's a pattern that has become obvious.

I'm intrigued how many balls T'Vondre Sweat knocks out of the sky and I wonder if he can make that continue in the NFL..

Also picking a IDL that could put up Madubuike #'s would make me very happy.

As good as it gets? 7.5 sacks in only 45% of the snaps. I'd say YaYa has room to grow too.

Yaya is about to be 25. He spent 5 years in college and was still just a 3rd round pick. His floor isn't low, but the ceiling is. He's never gonna be a consistent force that will demand offenses to game plan for him.

YaYa had 7.5 sacks in 45% of the snaps. Wouldn't you say he could improve on those totals with more playing time?

I read a lot of scouting reports on Yaya, and they seemed to be all over the place. Two things they all mentioned were lack of lower body strength and lack of pass rush moves. Both of those can be improved
