Bears rookie QB Caleb Williams struggled in practices today with the starters, with many “near interceptions.”
Williams completed just 3 passes in 7 on 7’s.

Not that far fetched... outside of the Elway and Manning years, they've been a pretty bad franchise. They've had those two QB's for 20 of 64 seasons, making the playoffs in 14 of them. In the other 44 seasons, they had a winning record only 14 times... making the playoffs in 7 of them.
Can't you say that (outside of one or two QBs) about all AFL teams and their records as a franchise? Jets/Namath. Oilers/Moon. Patriots/Brady. Bills/Kelly&Allen. Dolphins/Marino/Tua. Hardly. While Dalvin would be a plus addition to THIS team, that would hardly apply around the league. That just speaks to how poorly this backfield has been constructed. This right now is inarguably the worst backfield in the NFL. Adding a top 20ish RB doesn't catapult it to best in the league.

I agree with you about Cook. That said, the bar is low. White isn't that good and his "production" is exclusively linked to volume. I'm not saying Cook would be great here.
