Yes, you're saying that the fans want a Super Bowl or bust. That's not the case. That's why you're oversimplifying it.Bootz wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 11:38 amYou say I'm over simplify and then say a guy that's made the playoffs each year he's been a HC is overrated. Based on what exactly, because it damn sure isn't his resumé.CannonFire wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 11:37 am
You're over simplifying what they Eagles fanbase wants. They want a competitive team that has a shot to win every year, just like everyone else. Doug Pederson has a better resume than Siriani, and he's about 3 month from getting fired... AGAIN. I also think you're overrating Siriani. If you watch Eagles games, he's really not that good of a HC. He may be someone who's just better as a coordinator than the guy in charge.
You need to watch Eagles games. The dude isn't a good HC. They went to a Super Bowl, yes, that's because of the talent, the system, and the assistants. That's not what's there now. The talent has dropped off. Their secondary is trash. Their pass rush is "good", not elite like it used to be. The OLine isn't elite, it's "good". Their LB's aren't "good", they're actually pretty bad (one could make the argument that paying an "ok" QB "great QB money" caused the team to let some players go... but you know).
Their OC and DC from the Super Bowl team are both gone. They've even fired the guys who replaced those guys. Siriani is trying to make Hurts a pocket passer. Yes, that's Siriani doing that. On top of that, in their last 11 games, the Eagles are 3-8. I think the Eagles are heading towards a 9-8 season and out of the playoffs.
