Indiana vs Mich will be a good one next week

I got to watch Indiana a little bit today. They seem pretty legit.

Man Carson Beck is really good, although he had three interceptions. He led his team to a comeback victory, so this is crucial. It's worth noting that Georgia lacks top-tier receivers and tight ends, which affected his passing

I’ve heard the argument that Penn State losing yesterday was best for the season. With a relatively easy schedule(Minnesota being the toughest game) remaining, and a front door to hosting a playoff game in the inaugural season; you’d have to think PSU faithful would be happy with at least that. Franklin wins the games he’s supposed to. And I’m not mad about the effort. Ohio State is a more athletic football team. They beat us throwing the ball. The pass rush should have been a strength.

There are absolutely NO reliable receivers in Happy Valley. You can’t win a Natty in this era without a WR who can ball.

This year is weird. No team is standing out other than Oregon. Beating Boise/OSU is really impressive. Both squads have been unbelievable. I’d like to see them beat Indiana even if it costs PSU a playoff spot.

That always amazes me. It takes a special kind of person to sign up for the job of going to sit in a metal tube at the bottom of the ocean who knows where and for who knows how long to do who knows what.

Are there even 12 teams right now that are exceeding at a level worthy of being in a playoff?

Boise and Oregon are the two exceeding. OSU has looked off for weeks. PSU has no WRs. Alabama isn’t Saban Coached. Georgia looks like any number of SEC schools could beat them. Notre Dame would potentially lose to an FCS school. Iowa State lost terribly. SMU needed a miracle to beat someone two weeks ago. Miami looks like they’re gonna lose the game at halftime every week, then Cam Ward throws for 5 tds. I don’t trust the Hurricanes. I don’t trust many teams after weeks of watching.

B1G is top heavy. These lower teams aren’t good football programs.

If Indiana can upset OSU, does James Franklin get fired in the offseason? Even if he makes the CFP?

If you're going to miss a football game, a church full of Greek food isn't a half bad reason.

Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney says he was stopped from voting on Election Day

Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney took time from his preparations ahead of Saturday’s matchup against Virginia Tech to fulfill his civic duty when he ran into a bit of an issue. He had apparently already cast his vote for the 2024 presidential election. The only problem? He hadn’t, actually.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, the football coach revealed that he planned to start his day at the election polls. What he thought was going to be a quick "10 minute" detour, turned out to be a much longer process. "Tried to go vote. Tried to go do my best and vote this morning. They told me I couldn’t vote. That was quite an experience," Swinney said with a smile, adding that initially he thought the issue had something to do with Clemson’s loss to Louisville over the weekend.

"Dang. They done voted me out of the state. Lost a game. We’re 6-2 and 5-1 (in the conference), man. They done shipped me off."

Swinney went on to explain that he was told he had already voted with a mail-in ballot the previous week. "He said I already voted. And I was like ‘No, I can assure you I haven’t voted.’" "As it turns out, Will — my oldest — voted last week, and they somehow messed it up, didn’t verify his birthday or something, and they counted me as the vote. So what was going to take 10 minutes took an hour."

Swinney said he instead had to fill out a paper ballot and that a hearing would be held Friday to resolve the issue — a timeline he expressed reservations about. "It was quite an experience this morning. But apparently they’re going to fix it on Friday, and me and Will — our two votes — will count on Friday. I don’t know if it’ll matter on Friday."
