Gunnar Stockton is at least trying, but the offense hasn’t show up yet

Carson Beck declared for the draft, and he was considered the top pick. However, I know that this season he was somewhat average, but he carried Georgia all by himself.

He was mediocre to bad most of the year. I think he's projected as a 3rd or 4th round pick after this season. He had games where he couldn't help but turn the ball over and GAs defense got him back into games.

Looks like Notre Dame v. PSU. Should be a great game that fans in my area will love.

If/when Georgia loses this game, every team with a first round bye in the playoffs will have lost the second round.

My theory? First round byes are a lot less impactful if you are playing on a neutral field.

Solution: Have the second round of the playoffs played on the home field of the higher seeded team. After that, neutral site games for the final three games.

The rest time for college kids isn't as good as it is for pro players. Maybe this year is just an anomaly.

If we can stop the ND pass rush, and run the ball... we'll see.

PSU/Notre Dame should result in an instant classic.

Texas/Ohio State is probably gonna be a blowout for OSU.

I know NIL and the free transfer portal makes it hard to retain guys. But the drop off, from starters to back ups for quarterbacks now… even for Blue Bloods is crazy.

That back up for Georgia was ass.

Credit to the Irish and coach Marcus Freeman for the win..

That bold part made Carson Beck played like ass this year. Last year, he had talented receivers like Bowsers but this year, he lacks 5-star receivers. Georgia receivers aren’t as talented as Alabama.

Did Todd Monken left the Bulldogs to coach Lamar Jackson before this season? Is that right? Mike Bobo is terrible.OC

All I gotta say is Brian Kelly can suck it. He leaves ND because he felt like they couldn’t compete with the SEC. Well Marcus Freeman just punched the SEC champs in the mouth. Enjoy watching from your coach Kelly.

Great game. Man Riley Leonard isn’t the most talented qb in the country but that dude has heart. Wow.

Should be two really good semis.

Texas is such an anomaly because they have the talent to go toe to toe with Ohio State but just seem to sleepwalk through a lot of games. That’s why it’s so hard to pick because I think if Texas actually shows up and has the home crowd behind them, they can beat OSU. I just don’t know if they will.

I think Penn State has an advantage over ND in that they got two extra days of rest and had the less brutal quarterfinal contest. ND also got banged up physically tonight. Last time Notre Dame beat an SEC team they lost to NIU the following week. The concern for Penn State is whether they can move the ball through the air on that ND pass rush and defense. Going to be tough.

Early odds:

Notre Dame, -1.5
Ohio State, -6
Phantom somehow continuing to inject Michigan into every conversation, -1500

Penn State is down Abdul Carter and Denis.

Both first round talents. Hopefully both can play, both are banged up though.

To correct your mistake, read what Zarni said above. Your odds OSU is incorrect.

What gets bigger ratings, Ohio State versus Notre Dame or Texas versus Notre Dame in the national championship?

@Navybuc My brother submitted his and mine for the ticket request for the Orange Bowl. He had a feeling that the Vikings would play the Bucs, so he’s also coming down for that game.

Ohio State should win that game if Texas plays like they did against Arizona State, I agree.

Just think in the old BCS system it would have been Oregon vs Georgia in the title game

In the four team system ND and OSU would have likely been left out … Tex and PSU probably get in with Oregon and Georgia

We gotta draft Cam Skattebo at some point in the draft. We'd then have the modern incarnation of Dunn and Alstott!

Plus having both Cam and Baker on the field will give us unfair levels of moxie.
We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.

The New Union will correct that mistake.
