He is. Fuck what doubters say he is legitimately a first round DB and first round WR. In college he played nearly every snap both ways. His conditioning, film study and talent are unreal.

You won’t be disappointed. The kid plays a fun brand of football. As a WR he is electric and as a DB he is a ball hawk. He’s going to win them a game by himself this year.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:29 pmI'm excited to see what he can do.Primeminister wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:28 pm

Well that would hold water if you didn’t post all your draft threads in the TD all year long lol so. No. It will be TD as soon as we draft then like …onto…the…team

Browns could take Sanders. If I’m Sanders I’d refuse to play for them though. That organization is a dumpster fire.

I echo the sentiment that it’s weird the mods are suddenly becoming sticklers for this very minor thing. The only possible outcome is less traffic and more confusion. And there is historic precedent as well

Re: The Official 2025 Draft Day Thread!
This honestly has been a W draft for Cleveland already. They move back 3 spots and get a 1st next year plus a 2nd this year. They could still take Sanders or another top player at 5 and have ammo to move into the back of this draft if they want to.

If it always has been in TD, my bad then @Phantom . I don't honestly recall. I just look for the thread and post accordingly.

Re: The Official 2025 Draft Day Thread!
He’s crazy athletic and has elite ball skills. Probably the most naturally talented athlete in college football last year. The narrative is he is talent over technique, and I think that’s true. Apparently he finally studied corner last year with Deion and noticeably improved. I expect him to takeoff with NFL coaching. Athleticism is a funny thing. Jamel Dean may be faster and have better measurables. But athleticism on the field looks different. He has that x100.
He’s not a huge guy. he’s only 6 feet tall. Average dimensions. His natural athleticism is his calling card.
I think he projects as a better cornerback. NFL personnel are divided re: his wide receiver prospects. Some think he is the best receiver in the draft. Some think he projects as a slot receiver in the NFL.
I would treat him like Ed Reed on steroids. Let him do punt returns. Get him the ball on offense and see what he can do against NFL talent. And I would start him at corner ASAP.

Re: The Official 2025 Draft Day Thread!
Wild move my Liam. Could pay off big. Hunter can eat in that slot and it keep BTJ outside. But could be top heavy, they don't have our OL and Trevor can't escape like Baker. Can't ignore the trenches Liam.

Any team that drafts Ashton Jeanty is lucky

I had the impression that he was going to draft Ashton Jeanty.

I can't imagine an NFL squad exposing a player that much on the field. Especially if he starts to falter at 1 aspect. But we'll see. I'm excited to watch.Snake wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:37 pmHe’s crazy athletic and has elite ball skills. Probably the most naturally talented athlete in college football last year. Re: The Official 2025 Draft Day Thread!
realistically, I probably agree. They will give him a chance to do everything. But I imagine he settles in as a number one cornerback and a package player on offense periodically.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:41 pmI can't imagine an NFL squad exposing a player that much on the field. I would not put him on punt return, but I don’t think you trade up like that unless he is playing both ways. He has proven he can do it, so I’d at least try it year 1.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 24, 2025 8:41 pmI can't imagine an NFL squad exposing a player that much on the field. The Browns made a great pick. I love Mason Graham; he performed well for us.

That's what I'd do. Give me a shutdown corner who can use his ability on offense at times and as you said in ST.

I’d never put him at returner. He is already playing both ways. I think he ends up 60/40 D to O.

Right! That and the instant emotional outburst. Words came out a lot slower than I'd expect from a 22-23 year old kid who was just drafted.
