Opeta? The Eagles didn't want him back for $1M. Why would you think he'd be an improvement over anyone?

Not that he'd be an improvement. But he's more experienced than Klein was last year and IIRC we actually had him pegged for the LG spot over Bredeson before he tore his ACL.CannonFire wrote: ↑Thu May 22, 2025 10:15 amOpeta? Not at all. We haven't done enough to fill that spot.

I think given his star power, he makes the PS at minimum. Same with Watson as well. At the end of the day, this is a business. And anyone who helps the bottomline will have a leg up.

Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
I was curious earlier this offseason about BU center and I suppose Scott will take the role unless he stinks or something else opens up.
Given Litch is from Nebraska I'm sure he followed the kid and should be a quality bu hopefully
Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
Took me a couple extra seconds to realize what BU stood for. Is backup really that hard to type out?

Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
I predict Culp will outsnap Durham in most games this year making him the TE#2. I also predict Roberts and David Walker to outsnap Hall and Nelson by end of the year.
Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
Also watch out for Jake Majors cracking the active squad as a backup center. Dude was a high level pass protector that fell because of ineptitude in the run game.
Re: Way too early 2025 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Depth Chart Predictions
Not some crazy prediction at all. The less snaps Nelson has at OLB the better. He has no explosion or get off and most of his sacks are clean up or effort sacks. We need more dynamic players getting snaps off the edge. Nelson 573 snaps is way too much.

As for being on your phone, it’s even easier to type out. Just swipe. Or just let predictive text take care of most of it for you.

I think Kindle Vildor
Bryce Hall
Anthony Walker Jr
Sterling Shepard
Will all have to earn their spot.

The head scratcher was, Nelson got higher annual salary than JTS and yet our front office decided to keep Nelson despite being the inferior player.

Things went down hill quick when Dennis got hurt early on. Keeping him healthy along with Reddick and Diaby we should be fine. We should expect Braswell to make some kind of impact. Due to age and wear, we can't have David be a full time starter all year either.

Maybe I got it wrong but I was under the impression we drafted Dennis with his ongoing problem.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:15 amThings went down hill quick when Dennis got hurt early on. What guard are you drafting at 19? And what team would give us that big beautiful new 2nd rounder, if we tried I'm guessing we couldnt make it happen.CannonFire wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:59 amI like Egbuka, but I think we missed an opportunity to address this problem at #19.

Hopefully he got that thing welded up, I opted to not have the surgery and I know I would have had to have that thing popped back in every three plays. Very humbling.

I concur, Guard at 19? I honestly wouldn't have hated it. Imo its always smart going both lines in round 1but everyone else would be calling for Licht's head with the glaring need on D (and somewhat of a need at WR)CannonFire wrote: ↑Fri May 23, 2025 7:59 amI like Egbuka, but I think we missed an opportunity to address this problem at #19.
