Oh God, a backup QB and we're in creamcicles??
We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.

The New Union will correct that mistake.

And it’s a short week after a physical hard fought game

And we’re 2-0 against an 0-2 team who just got their doors blown off

And we’re injured and banged up everywhere

And we’re heavy favorites

Football is going to football so hard this week. A win would be the most impressive W yet honestly.

So far this year with Mayfield throwing TD's he has passed Trent Dilfer and Doug Williams. Up next, Josh Freeman and Vinny Testaverde.

Then, that will only leave Tom and Jameis.

Excellent news!!
Though Bucs QB Baker Mayfield took plenty of hits in the dramatic win on MNF against the Texans, his injuries did not require any MRIs or additional scans. Mayfield may take some time off this week, but should be good to go for Sunday against the Jets.

Kinda wish we had Peeples on the roster right now - that dude lasered at the QB like a rocket. Toast these two QB's before they even knew what hit them..

There just is something about cancelling out a QB before they can even think of what to do.

Theoretically Baker could own all of the Tampa Bay QB records at the end of next year except Winston's yardage.

I guess Mauch has a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday??? Per Greg Auman.

Yikes. I guess we have a healthy secondary so another group had to pay in return???

He’ll be among the top two by the end of the season, regardless.

I know we won't do it, but I wonder if it's almost just better to rest everyone for the most part and just accept that this week is lost due to injury.

Bootz wrote: Wed Sep 17, 2025 11:29 am Already starting with the bullshit. Mauch was noticeably hobbled in the game on Monday.

So, we would be down to Barton and Bredeson as the only OL starters on the field, and both are playing out of position...

Fantastic.

Tyrod Taylor is 2-0 against the Bucs in his career. Let make that to 2-1

Otton and Durham did some work in the run game. I'm fine with this approach. If we can get a little bit of a lead and grind on them in the heat they'll fold.

I hope we take the ball 1st to try and establish a lead out of the gates. This is the exact right approach we should take.

I'm sure he will play. But then again not much confidence in that being the right decision.

And then try not to give up a first drive TD.

It all depends on our oline health. If Luke and Mauch are both gone, it might not even be competitive on offense for us.

Defense has to carry even harder this game.
