I still maintain that Fournette was a very Madden signing (props to Bootz) for Licht.

Kind of, but not really. It was simply a "make sense" signing. It wasn't as huge as the name made it sound like, but simply from a performance, talent, cost POV it just all made sense.

Despite what the "don't draft/ pay a RB high, you can always find a UDFA baller" crowd will tell you, it's not that easy to find a good RB. We're on our 100th attempt on White. Hopefully he hits. But at the end of the day it's the Dunn's, Caddy's, Martin's that have done better.

We also had Howard. I'd have rather cut Brate and his 7 million dollar salary and drafted someone in the 3-4th round range to serve as competition for OJ and the third TE.
