Now that Coen is gone, who we liking for OC??
Mike Gundy - the Oklahoma State HC - said he was looking for an OC during one offseason. Tired of flipping through his Rolodex, he went to ncaa.com and sorted by offensive PPG for the entire college ranks. D1, D2, D3.
Some random D2 school was blowing teams out. 50 points, 60 points. He went to YouTube, watched some film. “damn this offense looks great!”
Called the OC at that D2 school up. Talked some ball. Hired him.
Now, I’m not saying it’s always that easy. I’m saying it shouldn’t be very hard.

Hopefully it's a minority so we can finally start benefiting from the NFLs racist anti-white hiring incentives.

You're not wrong. If we're going to get guys promoted every year we might as well get something for it. Stupid system, but should take advantage of it.

With Coen gone, I expect the Bucs to return to where they were before. Mediocre
They’ll be fine. To me, Canales was the one who changed this offense and probably deserves more credit than Coen for how good it was this year. And whoever takes over will be fine because the pieces are in place. You have great WRs, a good OL and a good running game. Even Clyde Christensen could succeed with this offense.
Nothing would bring me a greater Friday laugh than hearing the deal fell apart. I know it won’t, but just saying.
I'm right there with you. I keep saying to myself "what if....."I don't even think the Bucs would have him back at his current deal.
Honestly at this point Khan could fuck Coen over. By burning bridges Coen left himself with zero leverage in negotiations. Khan knows you likely can’t go back home so your only play is his offer. This is similar to the Desean Watson negotiations. Once the Browns burns bridges with Baker they were fucked in those negotiations. They couldn’t afford to let Watson leave and be left with nothing.

Yeah it would be hilarious if the actual contract is a micb lower number promised and Coen is forced to take it.
We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.

The contract has been signed by Coen. Khan cannot fuck Coen over. He still has to pay Coen.

Exactly. I have no ill feelings towards Coen. I genuinely wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

With the departure of the Coen,
if the Bucs managed to at least six wins next season, if the defense hasn’t shown any improvement
Bowles will be fired, and there’s no way to excuse his performance.

As I said, people are treating Liam Coen like he invited offense
That's the problem.
Too many entitled people throwing their demands around instead of showing some decorum.
Pot. Kettle.

I'm fully aware it was a huge mistake letting Coen go, the Glazers chose poorly. All we can do is keep as much of the offensive staff in place, add another coach and hope for the best, but you're right ... We're not likely to have a top 5 offense or defense next year, so this just delayed the inevitable Bowles firing and cost our guys a wasted year.

Wasted year? Every playoffs our future HoFs have ever had has been with Todd Bowles. It's why they post IGs of not caring of Coen's departure and tell fans who don't know better to shut up the complaining.
