That RPO BE is running is killing FSU:

- Option A: handoff to running back through the weak side B-gap.
- Option B: flat route to the receiver in the flat.
- Option C: QB keeper on a half-roll.

I only am catching the end of this game, but FSU is getting beat like a drum.

Top 10 team my ass.

Two of the nation's top five winningest teams square off on Saturday.

Sherrone Moore, it is time to prove me wrong. I still think you are not the right coach.

It’s one thing for FSU to start 0-2. The worst part it’s 0-2 in your conference. Cause you can be unranked, find a way to win your conference and somehow end up with a bye in this new playoff system which is kinda whack. But not when you lose your first two conference games. Stick a fork in ‘em.

I almost feel like the ACC and Big 12 is like the old AFL and the Big 10 and SEC is like the NFL. So unbalanced and it could become a problem down the road.

Sadly, I think that's coming...which will only further damage college football.

I wonder what would happen if a big league does break away from the NCAA in football. Would the NCAA attempt to use the other sports to hold football hostage? Basically saying, if you don't play football within our institution, we won't host your other sports too?

It's a 12 team playoff now and it's a long season.

In a universe of infinite possibilities, FSU could still make the playoffs, especially if they rally to beat the ranked opponents still on their schedule (Clemson, Miami, and Notre Dame). But as of now I see it as very unlikely. The only team identity they have is falling short of expectations -- they do nothing consistently well.

I did, because he can be great in spurts and that's how he started. Then he goes full blown Jameis on you and, crap.

Crazy thing is if they finish 2nd in the ACC they got a conference title shot and an opportunity at getting a top 4 seed in the CFP…one of the dumbest rules with this new system. Kansas may win the Big 12 and get in top 4 because the rest of that conference is also a joke.

May sound crazy but the rest of the ACC is terrible outside Miami…and I don’t know what to make of them yet until they play someone good. So yeah, as bleak as it looks for FSU, the best thing they have going for them is the new rules and weakness of the ACC.

I'd watch out for Georgia Tech here though. It could be Miami and them. That running back, totally forget his name, he's a game changer. Haynes, that's it.

This is where the system could get really nuts. You could have 4 SEC teams in the playoff: Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and Ole Miss. Tennessee ends the year ranked No. 9 in the country, losing just a couple of games to say Georgia and Bama. An unranked Kansas wins the Big 12 and a No. 23 Clemson wins the ACC. Clemson is the No. 3 seed in the tournament, Kansas is No. 4, and Tennessee is left out of the CFP because the final spot has to go to a Group of 5 champion per the rules. This all because the CFP feels so bad for what happened to FSU a year ago that they feel the ACC champion has to get not just an automatic berth but a top 4 seed.

That's the scenario the SEC/Big 10 is waiting for so they can break-a-way from the CFP and create their own league and tournament.

Solution: get rid of automatic playoff bids.

Alot can happen on college football over time. If in ten years the Big 12 or whatever doesn't produce a conference champion who is one of the 12 best teams in the sport, then they shouldn't get in. The 12 best teams should.
