That's what you were supposed to be researching. You're acting like I asked you to clean your room.

You got one thing correct, season tickets holders lose a lot of money due to last-minute hacks all over the internet. That's how I got club level seats for $75 for most games. I talked to most of the season ticket holders and they felt that it's not worth buying season tickets because of that.
10% agree. When I took my son to the Falcons game (in TB) this season, I bought two tickets in 311, Row N, with a parking pass, all for $60 total. It doesn't pay to be a season ticket holder in FL because of all the fairweather fans* not willing to pay for my damn tickets.

Unless you have the GOAT
Where is the parking? Most of the parking passes are at least $40, unless you park at the International Plaza.

That’s why, if you’re looking to sell your season tickets, know that unless you find a dummy, you won’t get half of the face value for them.

Seconded. Resources are limited and even if they weren't, Devin White was coming off the bench in the playoffs for a reason. Healthy core players shouldn't be playing less than 20% of snaps on their side of the ball.

I really think we should pursue Henry. I don’t know why I didn’t see it before. It’s likely he doesn’t get resigned and he wouldn’t cost that much. He’s older and competing in free agency with Saquon, Jacobs, etc.

PFF has Henry as the RB #3 last season. He’s a consistently dominant back who still has gas in the tank.

Our offense becomes SO much better with Henry. Henry is a McCaffrey type RB who can actually carry a game on his own. Baker is not a carry QB. He is good enough to win games, but he needs help if we want to go the distance. Henry is that help and adds that threat to our offense. We immediately become a multidimensional offense with big play potential on both sides of our offense.

Similar to what the Titans looked like with Tannehill.

Tag Winfield, resign Evans and Baker, add Henry. Draft oline and defense.

We can actually win something real with that.

I'd sign up for that. I think Henry has a few good years left and he'd definitely add an actual threat out of the backfield for us.

Imagine. An actual run game. White would excel in that 3rd down pass catching role too. We would have a really really good offense if Baker continues to improve

PFF has Henry at 2 yrs/10mil a year. That’s nothing

Henry and White would be a pretty sick tandem in the backfield. Would be cool if Licht makes it happen.
We're paying the price for a half-measure taken by The Union 160 years ago.

The New Union will correct that mistake.

There were games last year where Henry did not gain that many yards. That is because his offensive line was unable to open hole for him to run through. Unless the Bucs offensive lines greatly improves its run blocking, even Henry will struggle to get 1000 yards.

Over 2,000 carries in his career and coming off his lowest ypc average ever. Henry is not an investment I’d make.

Much rather draft some thunder to compliment White. Ray Davis comes to mind.

I would rather spend money on our own guys than Derrick Henry.

If you want a big guy who thrives on interior contact to help carry the load with White, just draft Braelon Allen outta Wisconsin in the third round and call it done.

I made a post a few weeks ago about signing Henry but I've changed my mind, for totally different reasons. Henry isn't a great between the tackles, power runner. He is too tall with too long a stride. He's at his best on outside runs where he can use his speed and then bully the smaller guys that catch up to him.

Maybe Donta Foreman would be a good value pick but otherwise, I've defaulted back to my normal position on RBs. Buy new, not used.

I don't know much about this year's crop of backs but if that guy is a good power back, there are worse ways to use a third. I still say we need a guard though. If we want to run, we need blocking.

I also want to take a shot at a FA edge. There are some damned good ones due to hit the market but with so many of our own guys, I don't know if we have the cash. I just know Brian Burns, Josh Allen, Danielle Hunter or Bryce Huff would look good in Pewter. Huff in particular might be Shaq Barrett 2.0. Ultra efficient in limited snaps who hasn't gotten starter reps yet.

As like most every year we will miss out on the shiny high regarded prospects so we have to go after lunch pale need a shot types at the end of the draft. I think every team does it but I also think they limit it by how strong their rosters are (and then it hurts them at a shot with another team simply because they missed training camp). Starting the process so many get elevated way up to actually getting drafted and we got to find and make offers to the ones left over.

I suggest we get really good at it.

The RB room needs an infusion for sure, but I’m honestly still hoping Sean Tucker emerges.

I don’t see them signing any FA outside of an Edmonds type.

White is our guy.

4.2 ypc. And their team finished with 11 losses and Henry got a ticket out of town. 275+ carries from a one dimensional running back is not a path to victory anymore. It definitely isn't a path to victory for The Bucs' roster as currently constructed.

Spending $10M on Henry makes no sense for us.

All about what it actually costs, right?

$5m is 0.019% of the 2024 salary cap. and that's before Licht adds 3 VOID years and cuts that number into 1/4 of that.

Licht needs to thread the needle on multiple deals and the o-line simply needs to be better. That is even more important than getting another good running back. Though doing both would be awesome.

Hainsey-Mauch can't duplicate their performance again.

Yea tell me how the combo of Rachaad White & Sean Tucker did again?

I longed for the days where this board was eager to bang the table for mediocrity. We're edging closer to those days.

Considering White had MORE total yards than Henry I'd say he did just fine. 4th in the NFL in fact.

So, what's the plan here if we sign Henry? We're taking White and his receiving ability off the field to hand it to Henry for an extra half yard rushing? And paying how much for the pleasure? Talk about mediocrity.

My guess is White can get that extra half yard with better LG play and growth from Mauch without spending any $$ on Henry.

Imagine putting mediocrity and Derrick Henry in the same sentence thinking and thinking you have any credibility in doing so. Not even worth a discussion if you believe Rachaad White is better than Derrick Henry.

Rachaad White was tied for 2nd in carries and didn't Crack 1000 yards. Didn't come close to 4 yards/carry. But by all means..
