I'd go one step further and say it has already developed. It is what we were doing last year and perfectly combats the combo of 2 deep shell coverage + activating extra box defenders (both in pass rush add-on and run blitzing).

* Make them defend 53.3 wide x 16 long (18 including behind the LoS from boundary to boundary).

* Eff with run fit integrity and force box defender-activation exposure via ubiquitous dummy action and hard motion.

* Eff with Match coverage hand-offs at mesh points and bracketing via rubs and Mesh concepts.

* Flood w/ 2 Zone beaters.

* 3rd and 3/4 is a run down (because 4th and 1 = go).

* Marry all of this together constantly and don't try to setup The One Big Thing TM for later. Constantly pressure the other side.

The Giants picked up Thibodeax’ 5th year option so he’s under contract for 2026. However, if he ends up having a decent year he’s going to want a mega contract extension before the season.

They’re down a 3rd round pick in 2026. Maybe they’d take that. Trouble would be getting him signed though.

Hopefully not necessary, but Chase is one more brutal game away from incredibly thin ice. Kickers can't be afforded much of a leash in this day and age. Been our most reliable player for years and suddenly he's completely untrustworthy through two games... Not ideal.
