That throw to Godwin…was I watching prime Mahomes or 44 year old Tom Brady? So much zip. So much precision.

He is divine.

But seriously, Tom Brady somehow looks…better? Dime after dime tonight.

Despite losing the turnover battle by -3, despite missing half of our starting secondary, despite having 11 penalties for 106 yards, despite losing in total yardage and time of possession, we won the ballgame.

Thank you, Mr Brady.

Plenty of areas to improve, and now we know where those areas are. We know that we can't just get off the bus and win the game. We had to work for it tonight, and we got the Cowboys' best shot.

1-0.

Go Bucs.

Old Gronk is still the best TE to ever wear the Buccaneers uniform.

The clutchness is hard to explain. He just makes it happen. Even if he’s moving at half the speed from 10 years ago. Beast.

Just goes to show you how good of a team we have. Go back 3 years ago and we would have lost that game by 30.

Gronk was never a speedster. Dude ran a 4.68 at the combine and that was over 10 years ago.

I loved what I saw. We gotta clean up some thing but play calls were fantastic, the talent is top notch. Cowboys made some plays, they played very well. We made some mistakes. But overall it was a game of inches.

He might run a 5.0 now but his brain is running a 4.2

And he's still huge

That was a game of Brady saying no fucking way we lose this game. I don’t care how many times the rest of you fuck up.

Let’s hope the Bucs don’t face another o-line that good all season. Cohesive and strong as hell.

The two QB's were the best guys on the field.

We just had an elite level QB duel and won. Feels good man.

They were very good but they started to succumb to the strain. All those critical holding calls at the end is proof. Vea was taking guys on hayrides. Our defensive front is still a strength.

Man, This team LOVES scoring 31 points... If this was a pre-Arians team, the two consecutive turnovers would have our Bucs playing from behind. Panicking and giving up.

This team needed a game like this; Hopefully, they stay awake now.

Dallas QB aint no joke.

A lot people had doubts as to whether Jerry should have paid him like that while he was hurt. Looks like Jerry CAN do something right once in a while.

LUGZ wrote: Fri Sep 10, 2021 12:10 am So I guess one of two ways to look at this.

First, we played an ugly game, made terrible and costly mistakes, penalties, etc, and eeked out a win vs the Cowboys.

Or you can say that we got outplayed in damn near ever metric, looked embarrassing at times, but because we're so fucking good and Brady is the GOAT, it literally didn't matter.

I'm going to go with the second line of thinking and hope for the best.

Now hopefully SMB isn't done for the year...
Looked like a dislocation. But you are right lets hope for the best.

I'm encouraged by the amount of plays Dallas needed to score. Making a team run that many plays will typically result in TOs.. the offense scored fast and the D made the opponent work and didn't give up big plays. Ds OL might be the best we face all year

I've never dislocated anything so I have no idea what the recovery period is for that.

Luckily we have a long break before our next game so maybe he can be ready to go then.
He should be back by the end of October at the latest, assuming it wasn’t complicated by other issues and that’s the actual injury.

Did my eyes deceive me or was ME13 double covered most of the game?

Godwin and boys will continue to feast

Evans is great but there are games where he just clocks out and I'm not sure why.

With Brady it is about what the defense gives him. Tonight it was AB, Godwin, and Gronk. Next week it could be M13, Scotty, and Brate. Never doubt the Goat.

I would be more worried about Jones.

Not to mention some very good finger tip defending by the Cowboys. I'm not worried about our WRs. Our RBs on the other hand...

I like our D and our CBs. Remember, they still young scrappy dudes and CeeDee and Cooper are two of the superior talents in the NFL when healthy. Their games weren't surprising. We don't drop all those picks and this game is a very different story for this defense.

Evans was denied two big plays by great defensive efforts by the Cowboys. The second one likely would have been an Evans catch and run for the game winning TD if that DB hadn't made a hero deflection.

The only advantage Lenny has is he doesn't tip our hand the way having Rojo and Gio out there do. That's it.

Vea is the #6 trending topic on Twitter in the world. A lot of “Blocking him doesn’t look fun” and “there isn’t a better NT in the NFL” complete with gifs.

This defense is very flawed if it can't get to the QB.

AB and Gronk look great.

Vea is a beast.

Arians said SMB should be ok. Dislocated elbow.

Our run defense is elite. Cowboys scurred to run Zeke in short yardage.

Dak was amazing and the Cowboys pass pro was great. Zeke blocked well.

I look forward to this Bucs defense vs the Falcons oline next week.

Name a damn starter, give him first team reps! Easy. Don't make it so make it so damn confusing.
