So the league didn't want to risk injury to Dak so they "let" La'el Collins play but they didn't allow their All-Pro guard to play. Makes perfect sense....
No one is above Covid indoctro, social media and the news has that covered.

Now you must "buy" the Covid/Flu combo to be up to date.

Covid ?? I think Collins failed to appear for drug test awhile ago but it was under appeals , league just ruled on it .

The offense is pumping out 30 points like candy. I think the defense can keep every offense in the NFL under 30 most days. And it'll only get better when they start catching those tunovers and turning near misses to sacks.

28 points plus 28 points instead of the turnovers, then Brady twists the knife for 7 more at the end.

No chance in hell
Of course not. They probably lose by 20.
Not to defend Winston, but we've had games like that plenty of times during his tenure. Most notably vs the Giants in 2019. And we lost not because of Jameis. But it was often because of our kicker. That day Matt Gay missed 3 FGs and an XP. He missed a potential game winning FG and what was notable about that was the fact that Arians purposely took a 5 yard delay penalty because as he put it "Gay was better from longer distance".

Plenty to rag on Winston about. Not sure of the desire to continue talking about him when we have the greatest QB ever. But the desires to not only talk about but fabricate are getting a bit weird.

I think people mislabel the issue... It's more "Pre-Arians" or better yet, "Pre-Brady". Brady came to the Bucs and brought with him the winning culture... We EXPECT better, even in the face of extreme adversity (like 2 consecutive turnovers). Before Brady, when something like that happened, the team would fold like a fitted sheet. NOW, it's more "OK, we got this... Defense got our back".

Unfortunately, Winston did have a lot to do with the game stopping being fun for the players, but it wasn't all his fault. Mr. "I just gotta execute better" had Koetter and Mike Smith along on that ride.

I think the other thing was JW almost always tried to play hero ball, while TB actually takes what the defense gives him. We’re also witnessing one of the great qb minds ever and JWs mind was…. Well, JW was ver “scarecrow from Oz”

Upon further review, Winfield Jr was probably as bad as Dean Thursday night. He provided little to no help and appeared out of position all night. Also missed a few tackles, which isn't something we saw much of from him. Definitely his worst game as a pro.

Awesome game to be at, the pregame was as electric as I’ve ever seen at Ray Jay, I waived the F’n flag all game. Dallas brought their A game, and with all of our mistakes we still came away with the W. I’ll take it.

The one thing I’m thinking about is if we’re able to re-sign Davis or Godwin after this season. Davis was clearly our best DB this game and Godwin is vital to the offense. Gonna be some tough decisions unless we get some major cap re-working and very team friendly discounts.

If Brady wants to come back next season, we keep selling our cap souls and resign everybody we can. We will have plenty of money for guys who would be UFAs as, remember, Godwin is carrying an 18m cap hit all by himself this season

On our last drive for the field goal, who the heck was chanting defense defense so loud? Did anyone else hear that?

You obviously weren’t there and it must’ve sounded different on TV because the crowd was way into it the entire time. And for the first time in a long time I’d say it was 75/25 Bucs to Cowboys fans which is a huge improvement from the last time they were here (Cowboys fans travel extremely well).

25% for Cowboys fans is being very generous the more I think of it.

In this day and age do tens of thousands of fans actually fly to away games?

Not saying that is how many I heard.

I don't think Bucs will repeat I just think Winston will rape Tom Brady's ass to end his career like the booty warrior fleece Johnson.

Dak Prescott we’ll see you again
Dak Prescott on telling Tom Brady after the game, “We’ll see you again.”:
“That’s just the confidence I have in this group. The expectations are high. This is a playoff team. We’re gonna make a big push this year.

Bucs home fans are terrible. First game of the year after winning the super bowl, home field, national TV, and the crowd was completely lifeless.

If you just listened to the crowd noise, it would be hard to tell we're the home team

The only thing more lifeless than the crowd was our banner ceremony. Very awkward and our "banner" looked like a $2.99 double cheeseburger advertisment. Pathetic.
When I can sell my two tickets to this game and cover all but $100 dollars of the total cost of my entire season tickets, you can blame me for there being more Cowboy fans than Bucs fans!

He should consider the Cowboys lucky we played like crap.

Next time, it won't be nearly so dramatic.

I think I have this right -

We're the first team in NFL history to:

- Go at least -3 on turnovers
- Give up at least 450 yards
- Commit at least 100 penalty yards

And win.

I'm more excited about this team than ever. We won't play that poorly often. Maybe not even once again.

RB will remain a problem all season. Obviously not insurmountable. Still annoying how poorly 3/4 of the RB room fits with Brady. Watching the ball fly off Lenny’s hands is akin to PTSD for me.

He's here because Brady wants him here. Brady obviously feels Fournette fits him well otherwise he wouldn't be here. I'm not a Fournette fan but I'm inclined to give Brady the benefit of the doubt over how fans feel. I don't think he or Rojo will play as poorly as the season goes on.

It's not clicking, our RB's are skittish (worried bout the hit) or (to much adrenalin) and Tom should know those passes have to be delivered better because of it.

I’m all about giving Brady what he wants. He’s the straw that stirs the drink. No doubt he lobbied for Fournette. Still doesn’t change the fact he’s below average in the passing game and pass pro.

What we’re talking maybe amounts to marginal changes in overall team performance over the course of a game. You can live with that until it goes catastrophic. See the brutal INT. Maybe it was bad luck. However, it’s bad luck we could’ve avoided.

Tom wants guys he feels he can trust. Which usually means tenured veterans. Being a vet doesn’t actually mean you’re reliable though.

I found out the added enthusiasm for the NFL "office".

Sports betting will be infused into the NFL experience more than ever this season.

Point spreads and over/under totals for the first time began scrolling across the bottom of the screen on NFL Network this week. Betting lounges showcasing mobile sportsbook options are opening in at least seven stadiums, and commercials for bookmakers will air during national-game broadcasts approximately as frequently as ads for beer.

No denying his weaknesses. But even I can't pretend that he performed well in the playoffs. It's all about the way we utilize him going forward. Stop pretending he's a 4th overall pick talent. He's not. Never was. But if we play to his strengths, that's not to say he can't be effective.

My life's work is done.

Everything else has been covered.......

I still say that screen to LF was not a good pass though.

You can throw high, you can throw behind, when you do both it usually ends badly.

And all were good points about how well the Dallas OL played, and that was without their best one on the field!!!?

They got a solid group and some boys behind them that can play as we saw on Thursday.

You can never have too many OLmen.

On to the Falcons we go.....

Edit: And honestly the Cowboys will be the best combination of QB, Oline, and offensive weapons we'll have to deal with until the playoffs.
I thought you were crazy at first but upon further thought I think you're right.

And again, that was without their best OLman (and some say best player on the team).

I love how so many of the "don't invest in RBs, you can find one anywhere!" people are complaining about our RBs.

If you don't have a true workhorse, this is exactly what you get. With that said I'm not too worried about it. Lenny is about as good of an all around plug and play back up as you can ask for. He's not a better rusher than Rojo or pass catcher than Gio, he's just not as bad as either on the opposite end.

This job is and has been wide open for any of these "RBs are everywhere" players to come and take it, yet here we are.

The QB depends on the other ten to help him, so does the running back.
