At this point it is "we gave up our UDFA to get Payne Durham?"

Ever notice that Licht makes the deals that no one will do for him.

We got started really, really, really early on the priority UDFAs this year!

EDIT - needed another “really”

I know this is famous last words x10, but I’m already worried about this draft lol.

Kancey needs to be an incredible player. And quickly.

Not much upside in this draft at all. Quite a few older players with limited ceilings. Random trade ups just because. I'm excited about Kancey, very excited. The rest is very meh.

After Kancey, we drafted a probable starter OG (probable only because we have trash behind him) and then the rest may be bagging groceries before the end of their rookie contract. I feel like Licht gets too damn cute on draft day.

I would have taken JL Skinner instead of Hayes. Better prospect and we need depth at safety more than corner. Not sure what OBP was thinking with that last pick.

Sent a 2024 5th to the Eagles.

This is absolutely ridiculous. We could have saved this pick and drafted this guy at 181 instead of the corner that should have went undrafted.

What are you guys complaining about? The draft is a complete crapshoot in rounds 4-7. Trading a late pick to move around is so irrelevant.

These day 3 guys are likely never going to do anything more than play ST. Fingers crossed that we found a diamond in the rough

Honestly, this reeks of a poker player who feels the table getting away from him so he tries to assert control by being erratic and aggressive.

I think Licht knows he blew it

Giving away future picks to draft someone we could have taken 10 picks ago instead of the corner with a UDFA grade is just bad management. It’s not a back breaking trade, but it’s not good either.

Classic example of scouting one player (Kancey) and noticing the guy next to him might be a good player too.
Funny you mention that, because I noticed SirVocea Dennis when I was watching Kancey stuff after we drafted him. Never heard of him prior to yesterday morning when I looked him up real quick.

Apparently he tested well at his pro day. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds, hit a 41.5 inches on the vert and 10-foot-5 on the broad jump. He's undersized at 6'1" and 226lb, but dude is an athlete. If nothing else, this will add depth and help special teams.
Pretty sure that's exactly what happen. They asked Kancey about talking to Licht and Bowles about bringing in some teammates of his, Licht laughed and said "well show him the big board".

I hate trading 2024 draft capital to get an extra pick in this draft. It is fun to get a super fast WR.

His dad works in their front office. They just showed his reaction in the Dallas War room. Such a great moment.

I love the resolve of armchair GMs. Y'all just so sure of who will be available when.

Honestly, why do we even pay all these scouts? Why even have our own big board? We should just go off of FuckNutDraftSite.com's big board instead.

Some of you need to go outside.

That’s awesome. Reminds me a lot of Barry Sanders in terms of his juke moves and height, just not as dominating. I am rooting for the kid. Such a good player.

In 2022 the Bucs ranked 25th in scoring and scored less than 21 points in 7 of their 8 victories. And that is with the GOAT at QB. The problem with the Bucs in 2022 was not their defense. Yet the majority of the Bucs picks are on the defensive side of the ball. My 2023 projected record for the Bucs is 5 wins and 12 losses.

People express opinions. You don't argue with the opinions. You attack the people. C'mon brother, based on your logic no one should post on a message board.

This is kinda where I am at, was expecting/hoping for more help on offense to take some of the pressure off of the defense.

Where is the attack?

They are expressing blind contempt, they are not expressing an opinion. You can argue against a opinion. They're "opinion" is Blah blah had him ranked at 999. Can't argue against that because its true, blahblah did have that.

The only thing to left to do with that is question why tf we care about blahblah over OBP. Which is what I did.

What is Licht’s record without Tom Brady?

He’s gonna add another 5-12 season to that fantastic record.
