I'm gonna throw a name at ya - Dylan Laube for what would be a hopeful freebie for us.

MDB 1958 coined the phrase "anticipatory disappointment." The Bucs could secure a playoff berth by defeating the Panthers tomorrow. I hope we are not going to be subject to "anticipatory disappointment."

He's an interesting prospect, and has an invite to the Senior Bowl. It'll be interesting to see how he stacks up against better competition. If he balls out, I could see him being a late round pick, even from such a small school.

Nevermind, Draftbuzz has him as the 12 RB off the board. We will have to burn a pick on him.

If he checks out and teams believe he will be that guy, he won't drop at all. This is basically Eli Manning all over again if this is true. They made it very clear they didn't want to go to San Diego.

I understand all that. It was just making an off-the-cuff remark. It would, however, go on the con side of my draft board pros and cons section.

NIL makes this possible. He’ll make millions, take out an insurance policy, and still go top 3 next season.*

he’s the most valuable and most impactful. Despite not having a higher projected Madden score at his position.

That's my bigger fear. Williams's ability to throw a football ain't the problem, but the kind of guy who wants ownership stake in the franchise that drafts him and wants to pick that franchise has unrealistic expectations to say the least.

I mean I get it. I do. The draft process SUCKS and if the organization that takes you is trash, that could be your career.

But this ain't it.

I mean things like this have been getting leaked from his camp unrefuted all season.

Bears should reply "why does he care where Maye goes?"

Being weak-minded and immature is ultimately what destroyed Josh Freeman's career. Not the coach as @Babeinbucland posited.

It was 100% for sure absolutely, without any doubt, Schiano that broke Josh Freeman. Full stop. 😝

If the season ended today, the Bucs would be picking 26th. Let's make it 32.

All in even if I don’t believe they can beat the rest of these teams. As long as they believe it that’s all that matters. LFG

I remember saying that about a former QB of ours. I was right. You might be as well in this situation. I don't know enough about him, but from what I read, I think you have a good grasp on the situation.
