Grab Nabers or Rome at 8. Nix at 40. Uffg.
1) That’s a big IF
2) They have a lot of holes outside QB and WR to fill.

Turning down the Commanders job could be a mistake, IMO. Top QB prospect plus cap space plus no more Dan Snyder is potential for another 2023 Texans situation IMO.

Just a thought, maybe Johnson is kinda waiting in the wings in case Detroit management wants to move on from Campbell in the next season or 2...

Feeling pretty good with keeping a HC that's won 2 division titles with 2 different OCs. Now let's make it 3 for 3.
Just curious. Do you think that division titles are sustainable when you're .500?

As long as your win percentage is better than the other teams in your division it is.

Herbert’s 4th Q rating this season: 101.2
Mahomes 4th Q rating this season: 71.7
Since 2020 no QB has thrown more 4th Q interceptions than Herbert. This year was his best in the 4th quarter.
My cousin who is a big Dolphins (Tua), fan, loves to bring this up. He said it again a couple weeks ago. He had a bunch of excuses when I told that Herbert has 5 more Ints while throwing 300 more passes in the 4th Qtr.

So, where does this leave the Redskins? Vrabel and Hoodie are still out there. Is there another hot young candidate they could shoot for or do one of the old hands finally get a shot.

Hoodie would be a good choice but I suspect he would want total control. Washington just built a new FO, they aren't going to toss them all just to give full power to a coach, even one with Bills rep. Is it possible that Bill relents on his desire for full control and just coaches?

Did they officially fire Bienemy? Seems like he’s no longer on the list of HC candidates. But, we haven’t looked at him for our job.

He's still employed by the Commanders. No telling once they hire a HC whether or not that coach will want to keep him.

The NFCS sent 3 teams to the playoffs in 2017 which is 1 of only 9 times this has happened since the NFL went to 4 divisions in 2002. The NFCS has sent 2 teams to the playoffs 7 times over that span (2002, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2020). Based on this info, I think it's safe to conclude that this division isn't as futile as some would like to pretend it is. The last 2 years? Sure.

Belichick gets all the attention, but the fact that Vrabel has very little interest this offseason is interesting considering how much people paint him as a genius coach. I know he took some interviews but wasn’t seemingly a serious candidate for any available job.

Belichick's coaching tree is not very fruitful (pun intended). Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Look at all his past coordinators and defensive assistants that took head coaching jobs. Name one successful one. I'm waiting.....

Didn’t he battle with two GMs? ownership sided with him and fired the first one, I think.

Doesn’t bode well

ESPN is reporting the job search is down to former Atlanta head coach Dan Quinn, Detroit defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, and Baltimore associate head coach/defensive line Anthony Weaver

Wonder how much that Cowboys-Packers game influenced Seattle’s decision on Quinn. May not have been any but so many had him pegged as a sure thing for that job after Carroll’s leaving.

Most outlets today, NFL included, said the Seahawks plan to hire Macdonald.

Remember when they use to say that most teams looked to hire offensive minded QBs with a history of developing QBs? Exactly 1 such hire this season.
