You know what would absolutely be cheaper? Getting this done after 2022..

If Licht can get them all extended he can use the tag on McLaughlin.

Umm, what makes you want to get rid of the kicker is how much you are paying him. You are looking around and looking around and then the eyes drift over to the kicker..

73 and still sharp as a tack. I remember on Nov 22, 1963 watching the flag at Junior High School lower the flag to half mast around 1:30 EST. Pete Rosell was hammered in the press for not cancelling the NFL schedule that weekend.

Way to represent!

I for one enjoyed the ball going through the uprights 93+% of the time and being able to get points beyond 50 yards for a change. Chase was as automatic of a kicker as we've had in a long time.

Me too. Failing to get a TD was way worse though.

Kickers are criminally under rated. They decide a good chunk of games. Make no mistake, without Chase there is no division title and playoff run.

We've had a turnstile of bad kickers over the years costing us games. I cherished a guy like Chase last year.

It's very possible AWJ's 2023 season is the best of his entire career.

122 tackles.
6 FFs. some game saving.
3 INTs.
6 sacks.

he was also at least good-to-very-good in every other facet of being a safety.

It's an absurd season. but it shows you what his ceiling is. If he was 30, I'd be more circumspect about paying him. but he's entering his age 26 season. I think you pay him, but you gotta get good term on it. I'm looking for years if I'm the Bucs.

He's a very smart and well-coached player. Clutchness is a habit for a guy like that.

I would only be open for a tag and trade situation. Just letting AWJ walk would be malpractice.

I wouldn't have a problem seeing him or Henry in a Bucs uniform.
Breaking: The New York Giants are not placing the franchise tag on RB Saquon Barkley, sources told Adam Schefter.

Barkley will become a free agent.

I'm ok with Rashaad White. I'd rather spend money on upgrading the interior OLine and drafting a 4th round RB to help. I don't think bringing in an injury prone Barkley or aging Henry is a smart decision.

Zero difference between 4th round and UDFA RB.

Then take that route, lol, I don't care. It's still better than spending money on Barkley or Henry. :D

Do you believe that injured players ought not make a lot of money? Or are you saying that there is a line somewhere? If it is the latter then where is that line?

He’s just saying he’s made a ton of money for not a whole lot of production. It happens.
