That's funny, I use to post on the GangGreen message board a whole ton back in the day.
It's still early for the Jets. They've taken on a ton of injuries and personally, I was not a fan of starting Wilson off the bat. As much as it's killing in my FF, I love Kyle not starting Lance. Carter out now with an ankle doesn't help anyone.
One way or another, I can't really agree with starting Flacco vs the fins.
"Gang green" website is the loony bin of message boards. Beyond whacky...
Just fascinated as to why you segued to the 49ers in the middle of the post? Not criticizing mind you, it just simply blew my circuits wondering who Kyle and Lance were this early in the morning... Carry on Doc...

Just mentioning the other rookie QB who is still on the bench. Probably for the better. Zach doesn't look ready, period.
A bit too much "Baker Mayfield" for me... Maybe it can be reigned in. Maybe not. That said, he's got miles to go to be decent, much less elite.
Houston Texans are putrid. How they beat the Titans, I'll never figure out.
How about a Brady v. Belichick rematch in the Super Bowl? Now that would be MUST WATCH.

There's a lot to like about Wilson's arm talent. I saw him do some things in college that were Mahomes-ian, just in terms of arm angles and off-platform throws.
But when he was drafted, he just looked so scrawny. He was listed at 6'2 214, but I doubt his playing weight is that heavy. You knew coming in behind that "evolving" Jets OL, he'd be taking shots and likely getting hurt. I like that they traded up to give him Vera-Tucker, but Becton can't stay healthy. And they desperately need to upgrade the rest of that line. It's the only chance he has to make good.

IMHO, they should make Brandon Scherff their #1 offseason goal, and then target someone like Evan Neal in the draft. I think they have enough weapons for Wilson to be successful if Moore keeps developing. But they gotta protect him.

If the Bucs are 10.5 pt favorites against a division rival that has beat them 6 RS games in a row, what do you think the spread against the JETE will be? What's the highest spread EVER in NFL history?

So don't despair @McFan odds are regardless of the spread, the JETE cover.
No true JETS fan despairs anything. Garbage team, coach, QB are rites of passage. We just shrug things off (and booze).
But I appreciate the optimism. Line will be about 15 or more and TBB will cover it. JETS are horrendous, especially on defense, but their offense is only slightly better.
How'd you like to go to this week's game: JETS v. Jaguars on the day after Christmas no less. You couldn't get me to attend that debacle at gunpoint.

How 'bout that game vs. Cleveland? I'm sure everyone was glued to their sets during TB/NO timeouts and commercials.

Big win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and even though they are down this year, this is the kind of game the JETS lose regardless. Onward back home to New Jersey to host those pesky Miami Dolphins. Even without Tua, they're a handful. But 2 wins is 4 games is a rarity for my favorite moribund NFL franchise.
Won't get overly excited about beating a 3rd string QB at home but watching Quinnen Williams knock over Tyreek Hill like he was a bowling pin was so worth it. Hope he's posterized all over Florida.
