Cuban sammiches.

If you order a Cuban at the restaurant in my office building, they will ask you if you want mustard and pickles. Who the hell orders a Cuban WITHOUT mustard and pickles?
So....a pork sandwich?

Tonight the Rays make the Yankees start gripping. Especially when they go home? Fuggidaboudit.

The Rays deserve better.. They need new owner like Jeff Vink.

Stuart Sternberg is holding them back. He need to pay for the stadium
When asked if there was a stadium in Major League Baseball that team officials would like to use as a model for a new ballpark, both Auld and Rays owner Stuart Sternberg, also present for the discussion, succinctly replied “San Diego.”

As a Hillsborough county resident, I am more than fine paying taxes for a ballpark. If Stu actually forks over some shit like $300 billion then people need to get the fuck over themselves and chip in too. That is a RIDICULOUS amount of money to pitch in. You didn't get chump change. I spent more money to watch the Lightning win the Cup at home in a night (about 2-4 grand I don't remember anymore) than I will as a taxpayer over 30/40 years.

Get the ballpark and you'll get the budget to at least $100 million without a problem and you'll do better than holding onto a guy only 2 years at most unless his name is Kevin Kiermaier

Give me the Yankees for the play in game. They'll burn that shit down if the Rays beat them. And if Judge leaves they'll rebuild and burn it down again

That was a fantastic play by Walls. The Rays will want to keep that one for the end of the season highlight package.

Weren't the Yanks on an unprecedented, historical pace to start the year? Their run differential was certainly unsustainable but damn they've come back to earth in a major way.

I think it was like a 120 win pace. I might be off by 2-4 games give or take but yeah, it was something stupid like that

2 out of 3 from the Yanks is good. Their lead is down to 5 now with 30 games left, including 3 in NY.

What the heck is going on with Franco? He's been "ready to be back" for like 6 weeks now.

He starts a rehab assignment tomorrow. He had soreness in his hand earlier this week. Glasnow is on the same assignment as well in Durham and could be back for the playoffs.

If they really wanted the stands full, they would have scheduled the Yankees for the last series.

If they wanted stands full they'd have stopped the non-paper ticket and non-cash policy in the middle of God's waiting room. Build the damn thing in Tampa already

Wander Franco’s 1st at-bat since early this season, double on the 1st pitch then a run scored on a double by Arozarena.

Franco & Arozerena are putting in work. 5-6 4 doubles, 4 RBI 2 runs scored combined.

This team is clicking right now. I just hope they don't hit a downslide in a few weeks. It's baseball - the ultimate game of failure - and this sort of stuff is hard to maintain.

I’m hopeful this year. Franco, Choi, and Lowe are back. Glasnow could be back soon. Those guys have time to get into a groove as the playoffs are right around the corner.

That's actually a great point. These are key guys, and these guys are all fresh. It's hard to maintain performance as a 162 season drags on, but if you walk back into it with only 20-something games left, you're primed to go.
