I'm actually watching now just to see how asinine this gets. It's not a sporting event, it's just a train wreck event that I have to see.

TCU gonna get wrecked
Wasn’t exactly a bold prediction. But this is beyond wrecked.
Somewhere, the 10 or 12 people who REALLY loved the BCS are nodding their approval at this outcome.

Per ESPN, this was the largest margin of victory in ANY bowl game in the BCS/CFP era..not Championship, ANY bowl game.

That massacre just highlights how spoiled NFL fans are with the talent parity in the league.

Or Georgia alumni just donated 26 million if they win.

Contingent..

It's been a while since I've turned a major football game off at the end of the first quarter, but honestly after the third GA drive I knew the game was over.

I've seen SEC teams beat the shit out of teams that have no business playing them enough to know where that game was headed. I was still surprised to see a 65-7 scoreline this morning, though.

Georgia did curtain calls at the beginning of the 4th, put random students from the Dr. Pepper fan section in there, then watched them slice through TCU like butter.

I forgot all about the game, working an 18 hour day.

The final rankings come out tonight. I'm not sure what it means, other than pride, but does TCU get put at 2? After that ass waxing?

The OSU team I saw vs UGA was better than the OSU team I saw vs UM. And OSU was missing RB1 RB2 WR1 TE2 going into the game. And TE1 and WR2 by the game’s end.

Styles make fights and UM probably has OSU’s number in a slug fest. But the best OSU team I saw this year was better than the best UM team I saw. Too bad we didn’t see them at their respective peaks against each other. And UM beat themselves badly in the playoffs.

Let’s exaggerate it to prove a point :

If I’m 26-2 over two seasons and my losses are to two 7-6 teams, but I went on to win the championships those two seasons, are those 2 teams “better” than my team?

Well in 93 ND beat FSU…they both finished the season with 1 loss (and NDs loss was to a solid team), but FSU finished #1 and ND #2. Just the way it goes.

Because FSU lost to a team ranked one spot lower than them on the road. Notre Dame lost to a team ranked over ten spots lower at home a week later. Losses late in the season hurt because you there are less games to make up ground

Still in the end the #2 team beat the #1 team and they both had same amount of losses. Just never got over that. Always pissed me off because Notre Dame was better than FSU that season and proved it. They dominated most of that game.

That season, followed by the 1994 season results where Penn State and Nebraska were both undefeated but couldn't face each other in a bowl due to the tie-ins, spawned a bowl alliance beginning in 1995. Once the Rose Bowl finally agreed to drop its tie ins and join, that started the BCS Bowl system.

Michigan probably would give Georgia a better game than TCU. Certainly not 65-7. More like 27-24ish

I still can’t believe that was not a touchdown!! Damn it

Saw a meme yesterday that made my chuckle (this was the morning of the game)

Stetson Bennett is questionable tonight (prostate).
