Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Alas! Mediocre college coaches don't turn out to be good NFL head coaches.
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
You have to be a really good coach to sustain success without a good quarterback. Rhule apparently wasn’t.
I would put Kingsbury in uncomfortable territory. He doesn’t get along with his quarterback. He has a history of getting worse as the season goes on. I could see him getting the axe if they don’t make the playoffs.

Frank Reich belongs somewhere on the list. It's not ALL his fault right now. Andrew Luck just astonishingly retired and Indy has been reeling since then. Change may be for the best there and moving on from Reich would be part of it. I'd hope he gets another job soon

This (as well as Kingsbury) are good points .. it doesn't have to be your fault, you just get the cut.. both have the same issues .. and Colts found quickly that Matty Ice is past his prime. Both are added, and hopeful Reich (he's just a good guy) survives. These Are The Days wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 11:41 am Frank Reich belongs somewhere on the list. It's not ALL his fault right now. Agreed on Kingsbury but I wouldn't be chomping at the bit to replace him either. Murray worries the hell out of meSnake wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 11:33 am You have to be a really good coach to sustain success without a good quarterback. Rhule apparently wasn’t.

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
I think Frank Reich is safe for now.
The Colts are well coached team, once they get Shaq/Darius Leonard back on defense they'll compete in what is a very weak AFC South.
Kingsbury is in trouble imo. Agreed there.
That Denver coach seems horrible. But it's year 1, so he'll survive the season.

Hackett is out of his league. Denver can finish the season with him but they need to move on from him

Dan Cambell (.205 in DET) and Ron Rivera (.395 in WAS) have to be getting warm in their seats too.

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
I'd give Campbell til the end of next year. The Lions suck but they suck giving maximum effort and believing in themselves. They may just turn the corner.Digital_Damage wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 1:15 pm Dan Cambell (.205 in DET) and Ron Rivera (.395 in WAS) have to be getting warm in their seats too.

HM to McDaniels. Guy continues to prove he can't succeed unless he's keeping warm in Hoodie's bosom. I'm not saying he's gonna get fired now. I'm saying by now you're wondering if Bisaccia wouldn't have done better

Agreed. I get that people like Campbell and his team is "working hard" but if it doesn't result in wins then that hard work is for nothing.Digital_Damage wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 1:15 pm Dan Cambell (.205 in DET) and Ron Rivera (.395 in WAS) have to be getting warm in their seats too.

I'll be sure to quote your next mistake.. appreciate your grace
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Could Pete Carroll be feeling a little warm? Maybe the org thinks it could be time to just start over from scratch?

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Realistically it won't be this year but for sure Mr Bowles will find the hot seat in the near future.
I hate to say it but I don't think he's the answer.

Likewise, I don’t think he’s the answer either..
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Mike McCarthy, I don’t give a rat ass his current record is 5-1
Another possible 1st round exit?
One and done?
Jerry Jones will do anything to lure Sean Payton to Dallas
Edit: 4-1. Not 5-1

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Added Rivera, keeping Campbell off due to the turn the Lions will need. I say he wins 4, and that's enough for another year.Digital_Damage wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 1:15 pm Dan Cambell (.205 in DET) and Ron Rivera (.395 in WAS) have to be getting warm in their seats too.
Carroll, McDaniels, and McCarthy are on a new Watchlist

7 wins in 2 years is enough for another year?Crocaneers wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 7:01 pmAdded Rivera, keeping Campbell off due to the turn the Lions will need. Yes, it's Detroit .. he needs some time (and a QB)King Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 7:22 pm7 wins in 2 years is enough for another year?Crocaneers wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 7:01 pm

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
How much time you talking? 4 wins would be a minimal improvement from the 3 wins they had last year.

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
If I were an NFL Owner, I would give 4 up front .. so he could draft / get his guysKing Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 10, 2022 7:58 pmHow much time you talking? 4 wins would be a minimal improvement from the 3 wins they had last year.
I will also say, I liked his personality while watching Hard Knocks. He seems to want to go against the grain, and that adds points for me
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Wouldn't it be strange if the bucs replaced Bowles with Sean Payton.
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Would definitely be an upgrade but I'd still want to slap that stupid look on his face every sunday.
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Raiders coach can’t be comfy right? History of being bad and this slow start… watch out
Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Take a look at the elf in the Todd Bowles day after press conference video image. He's a changeling!

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
It will all come down to Carr .. he can save him or sink him. I had Josh prior to the game last night, and most took him off mid second quarter. Then ... well you know
*** General Note *** Please tag me if anyone adds a coach

Re: NFL '22 - Coachs Hot Seat
Would love Peyton but letting Bowles go early like that looks bad on our part. Gotta give Bowles at least 4 years.
