People are already saying the refs won it by not calling the Godwin pushoff. Lol. Fucking losers.

Well, those people aren't wrong. Godwin got away with one.

But you know what, shit happens. Welcome to football.

1-0

Go Bucs.

Dallas wins if Zuerlin doesn't miss 3 kicks. That's why they lost.

I hate the cowboys so that makes the win even sweeter because it makes Dallas fans so triggered lol

Yeah, we also would've won by double digits if Godwin catches that bomb and doesn't fumble inside the five yard-line.

The ifs-and-buts game can be played all day and every different way.

They are wrong. That wasn't the entire game.

That's such a ridiculous way to intake a 3 hour sport.

I hate to say it but we messed up BAD how many times and it's a push off that turned the tables vs Dallas? Yeah sure. We lose this game 10/10 times in years past

Pretty much. Football is way too fluid to pin point 1 reason a game is won or lost.

I am still processing what I saw, but that was a hell of a game. A true QB battle, they were both the best players on the field.

AAaand we won, so I am happy.

Not necessarily. Even if the points earlier in the game would not change the flow of the game afterwards and everything else played out the same we’re looking at at least three shots at the end zone from Dallas’ 18 yard line with 18 seconds to go and being down 8. I’m not betting against Brady in that situation. Plus, more than likely Dallas tries to grind clock instead of score on the drive after the Godwin fumble.

Truth is even making one of those kicks would change both team’s play calling in the second half/fourth quarter. Doesn’t really matter now anyhow, it’s a bucs win in the books.

They could have called 52 for holding about ten times. I saw some worse ones than the ones they DID get him on.

The Godwin push-off? Could have called it, could have not. The DB flopped to a degree that would make Lakers era Vlade blush. But whatever.

If you lost because of "one call," you deserved to lose, or at least, not to win.

Collinsworth said it perfect, the CB was on his heels because of the back shoulder throw and his backwards momentum made it look like he was pushed.

Yep, truth. If Godwin extended, it was slight. The corner was beat on the backshoulder. Get beat on a backshoulder when you're running full speed down the feel, you're going to ragdoll yourself. Godwin could have had his hands in his pockets until the ball arrived and the outcome of the play would have been exactly the same.

Sean Murphy-Bunting will undergo an MRI on his dislocated right elbow today. The hope is that he will miss only 3-4 weeks but there’s no prognosis yet. Will talk to coach Bruce Arians at 12:30 pm.

The alcohol was hitting pretty hard at that point so maybe not top 10 LOL. However, it was an incredible throw. Collinsworth spoke to it. It came out so early in the break of the route and was perfectly delivered. It was further than it looked because it was to the sideline.

Mike wide open on the out/dig/fade on that play as well. Brady really is a maestro.

This game against the Cowboys proved that beating Final Form Brady is basically impossible if you give him time back there. Despite everything else going wrong around him. From drops to penalties to turnovers to defense sucking.

I wasn’t 100% sure he’d drive down the field and get the team within good FG range. I was close though. He’s reached a mastery we may never see again.
