It was an open question to whoever could answer it and it never got answered.

We have repeatedly given second chances to many, many posters. The latest was that we gave a 10th chance to MB because he was a good poster on this board until he wasn’t. We discussed it and decided to give him yet another chance. He took that chance to once again take a big fat dump on the board and resume his attacks on the Mods and vilify those who run this board while trying to blackmail whomever owns the domain name. So giving him yet another chance, didn’t work out so well for any of us. He will never get another one. No one else who has behaved that way or tried to commit a felony crime by attempting to crash this board repeatedly, will ever get a second chance as well.

Our goal as the Mod team is to settle things in PM’s, give warnings if needed, time outs from there to cool down and avoid banning anyone at all cost. Some past members however, left us no other options if the board was going to survive. We continue to try our best to be the opposite of the mod team on the old board.

@Mod LV goes the extra mile time and time again on personal engagement to sort things out. He did that with every single person, repeatedly I might add, before anyone got banned. For his effort they came onto the main board and vilified him. And yet, he reaches out to every single board member before taking any action. Always. It is his creed. And we are all fortunate to have him do so.

None of us are perfect, but we are collectively committed to being the best stewards of this board that we can.

Is this where new rules are posted? Maybe I missed it...but it seems like there may be a rule about changing posters quote and leaving it in quotations. That's been a long-standing joke on this board and the previous iterations.

I haven't seen it listed anywhere. Asking for clarity and edification.

The mods put it in a response when 16F and Chefie were doing it. Im not sure they updated the rules though

It'd probably be best if the rules were updated so other poster were kept abreast of the new rules. Just my 2 cents.

I honestly haven't seen that posted ANYWHERE in literature as being a new rule. If so then it's sad and I echo @Buc2 sentiment. It's not that serious at all.

Can you unban certain people who got banned because their buttons were pushed by the crowd you described and they ended up breaking the rules from the old mod team?

I received a board warning for this from MODXVI yesterday.

I replied to the warning and asked why…and never received a reply.
