Mahomes is in the discussion for sure. If he retired at the end of this season, I'd say he's still a top-5 player all-time. Whether or not he maintains his dominance if/when Reid retires after winning yet another Superbowl, it'll be interesting to see.

Better than Tom Brady? As a reminder, Brady has been to 10 Superbowls, Mahomes will be going to his fourth. Brady has seven Superbowl rings, Mahomes has two. Brady competed and dominated well into his 40s, Mahomes ain't even 30 yet. Brady has the most wins, completions, yards, and touchdowns in NFL history.

Mahomes is good, don't get me wrong, but he's still just a pup. He's in the conversation, but he hasn't taken the throne, nor do I expect he will anytime soon.

Brady also beat Mahomes. Which will always be a trump card even if Mahomes ties him for seven.

Brady went to 4 SBs in 5 years. He went to 5 SBs in 7 years. He went to 6 in 10 years. And that’s just the second half of his career.

Not sure running would have made much of a difference. Their RBs suck. They also don’t have a #1 WR. Flowers is more suitable in the #2 role. Their TEs didn’t show up either.

As good as they were this year, Lamar carried them a lot. KC brought the heat on him today and I think Lamar panicked when he got behind. Experience in Mahomes vs Lamar showed big time today.

This team’s identity is running the football. They wear teams down and grind the game out. Doesn’t matter if individually Edwards or Hill aren’t that great. That Oline is great and KC doesn’t defend the run well.

Only 8 rushes by a RB, coordinator screwed the pooch here. HC gets his share also
