Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Yeah I have to agree Brady still the GOAT. Mahomes moving up the list though. Gotta let his career play out. The way he’s going he’s gonna win 10 SBs.

Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
SF playing strangely soft and Vanilla like.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Curious why teams like the Falcons and Titans passed on Ben Johnson. That’s the guy I’d want. He’s gonna turn Commanders around. Hell of a coordinator.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Too slow, SF.
Guys are quitting on their pursuit!!!

Detroit's game plan is being executed to a T. Exploiting the things this Niners D struggles against.

Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Both visiting and underdog teams gonna win today? SF has to find a way to get back into this game. Need both offense and defense to step up.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
So the whole team? Send the menu memo!
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Brady went to 4 SBs in 5 years. He went to 5 SBs in 7 years. He went to 6 in 10 years. And that’s just the second half of his career.Snake wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:22 pmBrady also beat Mahomes. Which will always be a trump card even if Mahomes ties him for seven.Cheb wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:20 pm
Better than Tom Brady? As a reminder, Brady has been to 10 Superbowls, Mahomes will be going to his fourth. Brady has seven Superbowl rings, Mahomes has two. Brady competed and dominated well into his 40s, Mahomes ain't even 30 yet. Brady has the most wins, completions, yards, and touchdowns in NFL history.
Mahomes is good, don't get me wrong, but he's still just a pup. He's in the conversation, but he hasn't taken the throne, nor do I expect he will anytime soon.
The GOAT race starts and ends with him right now.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
If the Lions win I will be more upset about the Buccaneer losing to them.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Not sure I am following you.
If the Lions win... that means they could have beat the 49ers...
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
I foresee the Chiefs hoisting another trophy.

Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
I guess the Bucs' loss to the Lions doesn't look bad huh?
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Kirk Cousins come on down.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Probably start with someone not known as Mr. Irrelevant

If the Lions can score on this next possession it could be lights out for the 49's.

Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Only 8 rushes by a RB, coordinator screwed the pooch here. HC gets his share alsoBootz wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:23 pmThis team’s identity is running the football. They wear teams down and grind the game out. Doesn’t matter if individually Edwards or Hill aren’t that great. That Oline is great and KC doesn’t defend the run well.Navybuc wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 6:21 pm
Not sure running would have made much of a difference. Their RBs suck. They also don’t have a #1 WR. Flowers is more suitable in the #2 role. Their TEs didn’t show up either.
As good as they were this year, Lamar carried them a lot. KC brought the heat on him today and I think Lamar panicked when he got behind. Experience in Mahomes vs Lamar showed big time today.
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
Purdy and Shanny have tunnel vision
Re: Championship Sunday Discussion
I think you’re starting to see why Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant. But at least SF didn’t waste a high pick on a qb.
Oh wait…

I never thought I would see the Lions come so close to the Super Bowl in my lifetime. Unreal
