I'm surprised McDavid got the Conn Smythe Trophy despite being invisible in this series. Since when do they give a prize to the loser?

It doesn’t go to the loser often. And if I recall since I’ve been following hockey, the times it has gone to someone on a losing team, it’s always been a goalie.
