We don't really have a need at WR, and if they were going to bring in a little fella I think it would be Deven Thompkins as he's been cleared.

No
Captain Obvious has proclaimed that it will probably be a home game.
Personally, I would like to see the throwback jerseys against the 49's on Nov 10th.
That's salute to service day

I might be in the minority but I think having a throwback game every year kind of waters it down. Make it special by alternating every year between throwbacks and alternate uniforms. I don't think we did the all-pewter last season. Would be nice to switch it up.

C/mon man do it for me, I don't ask for much.

I want Cheb's kick returner too! ---- (if)

You're doing it wrong. This is not the Colts game you're not supposed to be able to recall.

Aiyuk would take this offense into T10 territory.

Evans and Aiyuk out wide with Godwin in the slot

8-)

Probably can't afford him but...

Not a chance. Godwin would in theory be the trade piece but his value isn't what it was 2 years ago.

If that were to happen, we are all set for a deep playoff run.

I've been saying it that our offense needs another threat. McMillian could be it, but that's a fat question mark.

Evans, Aiyuk, Godwin would be wild. We immediately become a contender. Top 3 WR crew, if not the best in the nfl, and a T10 offense. Give them our 1st this year and some change. He's a young WR in his prime playing at an elite level (per PFF), but he wants to be traded AKA can be had at a discount.

Do it Dom

Bucs aren't getting Aiyuk. They can't afford him first of all. Secondly the Bucs aren't getting Aiyuk because nobody is getting Aiyuk as he remains with the 49ers.

Has he been cleared yet? His agent implied that his rehab would go well into the season.

During a recent appearance on the "Bubba Dub Show," Owens said that he reached out to Brady in 2021 to ask for a shot to play on the Bucs in the playoffs, but Brady never responded.

"Tom Brady ignored me," Owens said, via Pro Football Talk. "The year that AB went crazy ... they just needed somebody to fill some holes with AB leaving at the receiver position. I reached out to him through Randy [Moss] and some other people, just to come in and play third down and red zone situations. This dude ignored me. It just shows you the lack of respect there, but then when they get in front of you they want to act like they respect you."

Replacing AB with someone 15 years older than him wasn't a solution.

No. Rosenhaus has stated the tear he had was significant. And after a little research it sounds like he also wants to play center, so may not be an option for us.

I didn’t realize he was 48 at the time. Crazy.

You’re not wrong… buuuuutt considering how the AB fiasco and the CG injury left us, I’d have at least brought him in for a workout. He should have tried harder to get in BA’s ear.

If he was realistic about being a big bodied safety valve for 3rd down and red zone, it’d have been fun. Dude is still in impeccable shape at 50.

I’m also extremely biased as I have always loved TO. I’d also try anything to reverse the course of that heartbreaking post-season. I’d have even got my son a jersey for kicks.

And if you are wrong and he has a good year, we win the division again and he improves, will you admit you are wrong? I’m not saying Bakers the answer but I think he more than earned the contract we gave him and a chance to do it again. We paid him as a middle of the road QB, with not a ton of guaranteed money(in today’s QB market). We were never getting him at 15 million a year. And any QB we could get for that price, we wouldn’t want.
Post more, lurk less.

I probably should but there’s a few people that make this board miserable to be on too often, even with the ignore feature :)
