@Cheb What are your opinions about Sherrone Moore as the head coach?

As for me, I do not believe he is a good coach, but I also believe he has great benefits from Jim Harbaugh. It all started with Moore mishandling JJ McCarthy last season and the offense went downhill with him while Jim Harbaugh was on suspension and it still continues this season. He also mishandled three quarterbacks, and we also saw the worst Michigan offense in a century. I do not think he knows what he is doing with 3 quarterbacks.

There's some chatter in Ann Arbor about what to do with Moore after this season, especially with several boosters pushing to have him fired.

I don’t like the Moore hire, but it was a mass exodus of talent. Seniors graduating and NFL players moving on.

I am not a huge fan of coach Moore. He's shown his quality, and indeed he showed it last year when he was subbing in for Harbaugh; with the same players that won a Natty for Harbaugh we were barely functional.

I think his days are numbered, and I won't be mad when he leaves.

What a year...some pretty cool rankings...who would have had all these teams so high?

Iowa State at 11
BYU at 14
Boise at 17
Indiana at 18
Illinois at 23
SMU at 25
Army and Navy in top 30

I know we’ve been good for 5 years and consistently in the rankings. However, being number 4 after the near death penalty they gave us a decade out is enough to put us on this list.

We could flame out in LA or when OSU comes to town but man, being a PSU fan has become fun again. Thankful for James Franklin. After the debacle that was Bill O’Brien, i honestly cannot imagine a better turn around.

Guy scored a touchdown lined up at center. On a jump ball. 17 catches. Literally does anything asked. Bill B would have a god damn field day with him.

Texas will run the table and be the first SEC team to win 12 playoff championships. How fitting!

OSU has a damn tough schedule.

Oregon and Penn State on the road. Two of the tougher places to play. Those boys are more than pro ready. A pro crowd doesn’t match a college crowd.

1994 arguably.

2010-2020 were sanction years where we were lucky to have a program. 2020-now we’ve put out some of the best nfl prospects in the game. Consistently losing to Ohio State has sucked, but there have been victories in there. Franklin has done enough to say he’s worthy of his contract. One of the best recruiters. No other school in the past 5 years has started 5-0 in each year. Impressive nonetheless. One win against Ohio State this year and we are legit playing with a bye in the playoffs.

As a Buckeye fan i will never forget the 63-14 trouncing you gave us in 94. Collins, Carter and Engram destroyed us

Film doesn’t do that team justice from everything I’ve been told through folklore of the program. It was a majestic year that PSU hasn’t replicated since.

My first experience with the program was Larry Johnson. Went to him trouncing Michigan State with like 300 yards. Never looked back. There is no better crowd environment than Happy Valley. Friendly people trying to get drunk, watch college football, and party while doing it. It’s the greatest show for a reason. If you’ve never been; a white out this year versus Ohio State should be on the list.

I don't know. Do you think he would get back into coaching?

He seemed pretty worn out by the changes that happened

It will take a program and booster group telling him explicitly, “you will never lose a player because of money. You will never miss on a recruit because of money. A guy will never transfer because of money. Playing time is on you, but we have the money.”

That’s my perception. Things have settled a bit with NIL. It’s still the Wild West in many regards, but teams aren’t going in blind anymore, and players are being more transparent.

Nick is cozy hosting GAMEDAY, having an office in bama, and being on McAfee once a week. Just like BB may not return to coaching either. They knew this day would come and were prepared.

Thats pretty damn smart

They will need to change the rule on the timing, it should be result of play or penalty and clock reset back
