Miami needs to have some serious conversations about Mike McDaniel. They lost the game to the Cardinals yesterday because of his stupidity. Up 20-18 late in the game, they score a TD. Instead of going for 2 to try and go up by 10, he goes up 9. They lost by 1.

His playcalling is holding back this offense. Run game works well. Passing game is good. But he called way too many passes close to the LOS. Too many runs against loaded boxes. His mojo has definitely worn off.

A backup like Flacco is pointless in that offense. It's not a 1 size fits all system. The problem is McDaniel is stubborn. That's why QB after QB not named Tua have struggled with the offense.

I've been saying this since year 1 of McDaniel. He's not a leader. He's a good OC, but he has the type of personality and "leadership" style that when things are going good, they're great. HOWEVA, when things take a turn, the players will turn on that goofy clown of a person.

You shouldn’t be so ignorant as to thinking serious conversations are a death sentence. That’s how adults operate in order to get on the same page. They don’t take the childish Doc route or do nothing and pray things automatically get better.

Serious conversations could include a number of things. Tweaks to philosophy, changes in certain duties, etc. There’s nothing wrong with serious conversations.

I think the only way he survives is if all the decision-makers blame Daniel Jones. Who is not good.

But, part of taking the job was convincing them that he was the guy to fix Daniel Jones.

Daboll got the NY job because of his time with Josh Allen and the Bills. I wouldn't hold Daniel Jones against him, but that's just how these things work when you accept the job.

Just like players early in the draft these coaches are typically taking over bad teams.
