Wasnt he a pedo or something? I remember there was a big hoopla about something like that and people started calling him optimus ped.
I remember a part of it, but I don’t know the entire story.
If I remember right, there was some story about a place lowering the age for girls to marry - down to something like 13 or 14 years old - and Optimus stuck up for it, so people started calling him OptimusPed. I think it was something like that.
Boise vs Penn State NYE should be good game. I think Texas vs ASU will be another blowout. But those last two games on New Year’s Day are absolutely blockbusters. Can’t wait.

Oregon/Ohio State should be the game of the next round. The first matchup was electric.
Penn State/Boise should be a blowout. We stop the run better than any team in the college football playoff.
Texas/Arizona State. Hook 'Em Horns. All Day. Everyday.
Notre Dame/Georgia. I think this is the most interesting matchup. Notre Dame hasn't played a team of their caliber all season. Georgia has lost to lesser teams, Notre Dame may be a lesser team. Touchdown Jesus. All Day. Let's go.
It’ll be fixed next year. Only question is how do they handle the conference champs that don’t finish in top 4. They can either:
1) Promise them a home game but not a bye.
2) Promise them a bye if they finish in top 10 in poll
3) Just rank them where they are but promise them a top 12 berth.

I would say just give them a bid into the playoffs and that’s it
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck underwent successful surgery Monday on his right elbow to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), school officials announced, and he will not be available for the Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff
Damn Riley Mills to miss rest of playoff for ND. This may be a bigger injury than Beck. He is a force on that DL and impossible to replace. They depend on that DL pressure. Mills wrecked Indiana’s OL. Without him that hurts.
Okay, after discussing with some Bulldogs fans, we’ve come to the conclusion that the outcome is tossup However, we believe that the Bulldogs will will win because of defense. So Georgia it is
Been thinking long and hard about this big Fiesta Bowl.. Reminds me of when Boise had Oklahoma in the fiesta. Same kind of storyline minus Oklahoma’s defense was subpar that year. They were a gritty team who no one thought could beat their opponent. They have one of the best running backs in the country, that year they had Ian Johnson.
That being said… I think Penn State should pull it out just because we’ll make them one dimensional. stopping the run is what PSU does best. Not going to lie, I’m fucking nervous.

Seriously, Ashton Jeanty is 100x better than Ian Johnson ever was. He should have won the Heisman if Boise Stare were in the Big Ten
conference
Boise State will join PAC 12 nrxt year and it’ll change things

Johnson had 1700 yards the year they went to the Fiesta Bowl. Jeanty has 2400 yards. Johnson was 8th in Heisman Voting. Jeanty was 2nd(in a really bad year around the country).
A pair of Saturday NFL games drew a larger viewing audience than college football for the rollout of the sport's 12-team playoff.
The playoff game between SMU and Penn State averaged 6.4 million viewers on TNT networks, compared with the Texans-Chiefs game on NBC, which averaged 15.5 million viewers.

I'll be honest, I am interested to see how the #'s go as the playoffs go on. My mind is wired such that OSU should haven only 1 more game (I realize they might, but they might have up to 3 more)...it just doesn't feel right
I mean there could be a year when they play Mich, Big X title game, 3 or 4 playoff games. That's crazy. That's two solid months of big time opponents.

And in a world where non conference schedules don’t prep them for this type of schedule.
