Flare screens aren't going to get you down the field to score when you're inside of your own 10 yard line. There are 30 seconds left in the half. If you are trying to score, then fucking try to score. If you want to just get to half, then run it and call it a half. But short throws like that don't accomplish either objective, and are high risk for that very reason.
