RIP Demariyus Thomas

Found dead in his home at 33. Way too young to die, especially if you're in top physical condition.

Believed to be a seizure while he was in the shower? Ugh.

He was a physical specimen before the injuries. So explosive. Career over at 31. By all accounts a good guy.

I agree. And that's why most states make you surrender your driver's license if you're diagnosed with epilepsy.

That happened to a co-worker a few years ago when he was driving. While he died, unfortunately, fortunately, his car didn't hit anyone else when it crashed.

I've been spending a lot more time on twitter recently and the outpouring of love from the NFL community towards DT kinda hit me. Reminded me of a guy I served with that died at a similar age - every squadron he flew with just overflowed with love and fond memories. Some people are just bigger than what they do. Rest in peace, Demarius Thomas and A.J. Ojofeitimi. Titans of their craft and simply Good People.
