I will be very underwhelmed if the following players become a Buc in round 1.
Matthew Golden - Irrespective of his 40 time, he doesn't look like an impressive athlete the way Brian Thomas Jr popped off the screen at LSU. The idea of a X receiver in waiting feels great, but Golden isn't that guy and I honestly don't believe there is one in this class.
Malaki Starks: Not a fan of safety in 1st. There is not a single safety in this entire league that could improve the defense as much as a stud Edge or CB could.
Jalon Walker: Humble, high character kid. But will be a Devin White in impact. He is a splash playmaker that struggles at foundational responsibilities of his job. If you start him at ILB, he will struggle at diagnosing run plays and shooting the right gaps. He will struggle in pass coverage just like Britt. As EDGE, he simply doesn't have the size and will be at best a pass rush specialist on 3rd downs like Bryce Huff.
Shemar Stewart: On the positive side his floor is Yaya Diaby. On the concerning side, his college production suggests he will finish fewer plays than Diaby and will be more a PFF stat monster (pressures, pass rush win rate) than sack monster.
I will post my day 2 players at the end of the night.
