For someone like me who didn’t have anyone to explain football to me when I started watching (Let alone never getting to play) these kinds of things are invaluable to enhancing the game for me.

Batman and David

Love this series they are doing. Based on the throwback uniform video, should have one of Diaby with Rice and Bucky with Alstott.

LVD

I have no problem with LVD on this list. So good!

We didn't last year or any of the other times the 49ers have come to play in Tampa since he's been their GM(since 2017). Not sure if we would this year.

While it would be pretty cool to see one with Lynch and Winfield Jr, don't see it happening while he is the GM of another team.

Another good one. Friend of mine pointed out the same uniform video had Bowles and Dungy talking about the 2020 defense in the SB. So at least two more to go.

Simeon is one cycle away from busting some sorry OT ass.

Yaya comes across like he was raised right. Good for him. Dude is fucking massive too.

We wouldn't last year, I was referring to the 50th anniversary as a reason to do something minor since he is in town.

I love how Yaya Diaby was thinking he was going into a feel-good promo, and Simeon Rice was there to show him how to be great.

As an aside, I adore Coach Simeon. I'd hire him tomorrow.

No doubt. He really seemed to get into it, loved hearing him tell Diaby to give him a call anytime and he'd help him with anything. And the line about when you're a DE, you need to be the villain.

Thought it was interesting

The Buccaneers, who won six of their final seven regular-season games in 2024, end the 2025 campaign with six consecutive games against teams that missed the playoffs.

Can't blame the Bucs. Doesn't hurt to kick the tires of any OT prospects at this point.

This fan base can be exhausting. It's like we're never doing enough doing enough due diligence and yet when we do it's it "proof that we think our current guys suck". There's just never any winning with some people.

Thats the thing. No due diligence was done at all. It was literally "who needs depth when you have Tristan Wirfs"?

But it's a good thing we spent $66mil & 2 Draft picks on WRs, right?

Pretty much the crux of the argument.

It’s fun to draft receivers and pay injured wide receivers. Because “you can have your cake and eat too!” But what about the steak?

Meanwhile, the Eagles:

2021:

2nd - Landon Dickerson

2022:

2nd - Cam Jurgens

2023:

3rd - Tyler Steen

2024:

5th - Trevor Keegan
6th - Dylan McMahon

2025:

5th - Drew Kendall
6th - Myles Hinton
6th - Cameron Williams

Chiefs

2025:

Round 1 - Josh Simmons

2024:

Round 2 - Kingsley Suamataia
Round 5 - Hunter Nourzad
Round 7 - C.J. Hanson

2023:

Round 3 - Wanya Morris

It goes deeper, but I’m sick of typing.

Could they? Didn't seem to be an issue when they both beat us last season....Especially the Chiefs. I was just told they had the great DeAndre Hopkins, who's ironically now with the Ravens.

Yes? Zay Flowers is nice but not a #1 and there isn’t much behind him. Rice was coming along nicely before a brutal injury and legal trouble. Adding a cheap young (and good) WR would benefit both teams quite a bit.

But it was also tongue in cheek because obviously a great and dependable Oline is way more important than more toys on offense.

With the QBs leading both teams, I wouldn't say either team hurts at WR. They are the ones elevating the position. Not the other way around.

If the WR #’s put up by those teams last year was a result of being elevated by their QBs then it makes their lack of talent at the position even more apparent. Chiefs especially had atrocious numbers from their WR’s last year.

Chiefs needed overtime to beat us and Mayfield's starting WRs were Palmer, Jarrett and Miller. Chiefs task made far easier by just targeting Josh Hayes 11 times for 9 completions, 98 yards, 2 TDs (both from Hopkins) and a 143.4 rating. 25% of Mahomes' throws went at Hayes. Argument could be made we needed more bodies in the WR room and the CB room.

You're just looking at stats so of course that's your position. We're they hindered by the WRs on their teams? No. Why should it matter how many 100 yard games their WRs had? Especially when it doesn't equate to wins.
