-Only 7 healthy OL going into week 1. Very odd
-That DL is gonna wear down FAST without another body
-15 skills guys. All Davis would be proud.

Can't elevate everyone on PS and you're limited to 3 times/season per player. That doesn't account for the fact that injuries are likely to happen there and you need bodies. I don't think we keep the 15 skills guys going into the year. Some of that must be turned into OL depth.

Hayes makes the team as a special teams player, he's not there to ever (hopefully) line up for meaningful CB snaps. Would be nice to get a better ST player though, Vildor is pretty good there as well. Keift, Johnson, Watts and Bullock all made the roster for their ST play over offense/defense. Could see them going in place of others depending on what's on the waiver wire.

Front office may be looking to trade either White or Tucker to free up a spot as well. They really, really like Williams, who probably replaces White next year if White finishes out his contract here. Better at pass protection than Tucker, and probably the best zone runner on the team.

Gotta have guys who can do well on special teams just like we need offense/defense. Been an area of the game we've not been great at for a while now.

I think they'd wanted to have Chukwuma on the PS this year, but he did too well in training camp and games - especially against the Bills. No way he'd make it to the PS after being waived. Klein and Heck are both able to play multiple positions on the o-line, which helps. Not that either are great, oddly enough would feel better with Skule back.

@Snake Exactly. Especially at the detriment of the OL. As @Pirate Life state we likely will try to move either White or Tucker. I seriously can't see us keeping 8 RBs & TEs.

It never does. Teams churn the bottom of their roster all the time. What I'm curious about is who ends up on the practice squad

When it was announced last week that they'd start the year on the 53, this was always a procedural necessary and was going to happen.

The odd thing here is Schefter making a tweet about something that happens LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE TIME a player is activated off of PUP or IR. They are required to pass a physical. Why announce something we already knew would happen?

No, no he's not. His on field snaps have decreased each year he's been here. He plays more STs now. But no telling how good or bad of a ST player he is. I question every week why is he here. Seems like a waste of a spot.
