I like it.

That made me look at what a Clemson throwback would be, because the school only ever uses three uniforms... ever. Orange home, White away, or Purple for military appreciation (honoring purple heart soldiers). That's it. Ever.

This, I guess, would be the old one?

That's a little bit of fugly. Almost Chicago-ish.
Interesting to look back.

The current logo of the USF is 1000x better than the old logo.

That seems like a "we're planning for next year" move.

Edit: this was @Zarni and his qb post. Didn't realize the thread had rolled over.

Why would they do that? Don't change. Tradition is a thing.

PSU and Liberty hopefully are good this year. Rooting as a fan of both teams this year. PSU should be able to run the table, but we'll see.

as a new fan of Liberty in my first year as a student, we will see how they do. I know absolutely nothing about the football team, other than they are FBS-1.

Penn State on the other hand, should have the toughest schedule they have faced in years.

Oregon at home, UCLA on the road the following week in a big trap game, Iowa two weeks later in a big road game that has always troubled the Nittany Lions, Ohio State two weeks after a bye the following week, then Indiana and MSU. Should be a fun year, WE ARE!. PENN STATE! THANK YOU!

As a ND fan I actually like the new logo. I mean the leprechaun hasn't changed other than it's stance.

They could have used this back then. A logo holding a Football is as traditional as it can get.

This Kansas State game is heating up.

I am intrigued by that tight end from Iowa State, Benjamin Brahmer. Potential mid/late rounder when he declares.

I did some research and it seems that the old logo is still being used as the main logo. Each sport will have its own unique mark for identification.

So, I’ve chosen some great games, but one game that I believe will win by a significant margin is happening next weekend.

#25Boise State at USF

My pick: This is tough one but I'll take USF

#1Texas at #3Ohio State

My pick: another tough decision, but I’m going with Texas because they have Arch Manning, while Ohio State has who? Exactly, a freshman. They’ve lost a lot of players. Like the 2024 Michigan team.

Clemson vs LSU

Although I detest Clemson, they should easily win this game.

My pick: Clemson

Miami vs Notre Dame

Miami has Carson Beck and a coach facing a precarious situation, while Notre Dame is dealing with an inexperienced quarterback.

My pick: Miami

FSU-Alabama

Is anyone but FSU and Alabama fans interested in this game? Will FSU improve from their dismal 2-10 season?

My pick: Alabama by rout

Which college football game are you planning to attend? I’ll be at Michigan’s first game this Saturday and Ohio State’s game on Thanksgiving. I’ll also be at Georgia vs. Florida game

I might attend one of USF’s games.

If I attend another college football game in my lifetime, it will a surprise to me.

loud, expensive, uncomfortable, (usually cold).

I have the best seats in the house from my couch.

Well, yeah, but it’s about the gameday experience, other than sitting in front of a big screen TV. It’s a big difference.

I’m sure The Big House is great.

The Shoe in Columbus has been mediocre for years.

No sarcasm.

It’s not as loud or as raucous as it used to be. Most of the ticket sales skew older because of the exorbitant cost. A lot of stories of people being told to sit down by older people who just wanna sit.

If someone tells me to sit down, I’ll either tell them to fuck off or ask them to move to another seat. After all, I’m paying for my ticket and I have the right to cheer as much as I want.

The acoustics in Ohio Stadium suck. I've been both in the student section and general admission.

We also do far too many noon kickoffs. it is a different place at 7:00 pm.

Didn’t you complain about Ohio State’s too many many night games last year? Or am I thinking of someone else?

I think I complained that we always have to play night games on the road but we never get the same benefit at home

I'm going to Washington @ Michigan with a buddy of mine, then MNF Bucs @ Detroit two days later.

Should be fun. Haven't been back in Michigan in awhile.
