Ranking power is about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Your consistent lack of intelligence never fails to amaze me.Buc2 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 1:35 pm NFL Power Rankings: Packers rise entering Week 1; Commanders, Cowboys slip per Eric Edholm at NFL.com.
Eagles #1
Bucs #7
If you wish to think of the Buccaneers as the best team of the second tier, be my guest. That’s sort of how I’m approaching them this year, but I really believe they have a high ceiling if they receive some good luck on the injury front and can make incremental improvements defensively -- more takeaways, a little tighter against the pass, better in first halves. That’s not a high bar to cross. No, the offense is not above examination, and first-time play-caller Josh Grizzard will be Baker Mayfield’s third offensive coordinator in three years with the Bucs. Still, the firepower is there, with many options to showcase. Seven of Tampa's first 11 games are on the road, too, but I am buying Bucs stock and putting it in the safety-deposit box. If they can weather the early storm and hold off the Falcons, these Buccaneers feel like Super Bowl dark horses to me.
Falcons #20
Panthers #29
Saints #32

I asked him to reboot due to one of his unreadable sentences. Apparently, that pushed the microchips in his hyperdrive to their limits. Watch for a hard crash soon due to overheating.

I was thinking the same thing. It was an odd sentence, the likes of which I had never seen before.

I used streams like this for the last 15 years. I hated dealing with the ads, the buffering, the annoying stuff. I decided to purchase an IPTV service… best media related decision I’ve made. It’s $50 for the entire year.

They toggle back and forth between games; often showing multiple games at once during live play.
That would annoy the hell out of me. Especially if I didn't have control over when they switched between games.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 10:56 amThey toggle back and forth between games; often showing multiple games at once during live play.
They basically circumvent all of the commercial breaks and TV timeouts or breaks in between plays. It's like crack for gambling and fantasy football junkies.
There are lots of ways to have "commercials" though. If they're planning on completely cutting away from football for full commercials like the games do I can see why people are pissed. If they just do "playing through" the way golf does and there are still games going on it's not that big of a deal.
You get used to it and they're really good at when they cut away so you don't miss anything, and if you do they circle back to it. I also have two TV's on my patio so leave one on Red Zone and the other on a live game.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 11:04 amThat would annoy the hell out of me. I actually didn't know they show full games. If thats the case, seems like it would've been the better buy and the commercials would have been but a minor inconvenience.
I've got something that sounds identical to this. It's an app on my Roku and it was also $50/year and, like yours, has everything other than underwater basket weaving.Snake wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 9:40 amI used streams like this for the last 15 years. 30,000 channels. Organized into sections like football, US news, etc.. also a massive selection of free on-demand movies and TV shows. HD quality.
It was kind of annoying to set up. you have to buy an Amazon fire stick, connect to your TV, download the software to the fire stick, blah blah blah
But it’s flawless once you set it up.
I'm not exaggerating here, unless you're watching "YOUR TEAM", NFLREDZONE is by far, the best sports programming on TV and it aint even close at all.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 11:04 amThat would annoy the hell out of me. Seconded, especially for the first group of games on a Sunday if "your team" isn't playing.acmillis wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 12:12 pmI'm not exaggerating here, unless you're watching "YOUR TEAM", NFLREDZONE is by far, the best sports programming on TV and it aint even close at all.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 11:04 am

Completely agree. My only "issue" is that there are what, triple/quadruple the 1:00 games, so if the 4/4:25 slate of games turns out to be duds, not that it's REDZONE's fault, but it can get a little boring with only 2-3 games going on at one time.Cheb wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 12:57 pmSeconded, especially for the first group of games on a Sunday if "your team" isn't playing.
Imagine that a omniscient football savaant was controlling your remote, going back and forth between the various games, showing any recent highlights that you missed, ditching the blowouts over time and focusing in on the tight games while simultaneously zooming in on key game situations. That's Redzone, and it's lovely.
I don't play fantasy football and I don't gamble, but watching Redzone (I think) is great.
I'm sorry but this and @Cheb explanation made it more confusing. Does Redzone show full out of market games with no interruptions? Can I choose which out of market games I want to see?acmillis wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 1:09 pmCompletely agree. For example, as most know I'm a Niners fan. So I've had Sunday Ticket so I can catch Niners games, typically showing in the 4pm EST window. If I had RedZone instead of Sunday Ticket, would I be able to catch full Niners games?
Absolutely, 100% no. NFL Redzone is more of a live highlights show. Honestly, just youtube a clip to get an idea, it's probably easier to digest that way than trying to understand me and my babble. Essentially, you will be watching the game(s) with the most intrigue in that very moment, and then swtich to other game(s) (redzone does this automatically for you, you do not choose) with other cool things happening. YOu have one host, and other than that, you're just dropping in on all of the live games.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 1:55 pmI'm sorry but this and @Cheb explanation made it more confusing. RedZone began quietly testing ads last December in a two-box style, where ads appeared while NFL action remained on-screen. The NFL says that is how the ads this season will run: exactly as they did during that test.
There will be four 15-second ads in the seven-hour edition of RedZone in Week 1, a source tells FOS. That could change later in the season.
There will not be full ad breaks, where the football action disappears from the screen.
“It’s an incredibly small ad load,” an NFL spokesperson told Front Office Sports.
While ads are playing, viewers will hear the audio of the ads, but the other box will show NFL RedZone.
“This move has been contemplated and tested for over a year now, and is completely unrelated to the recent news regarding ESPN and the NFL,” the league told FOS.
Then in that regard, it wouldn't benefit me. I couldn't care less if I'm missing Drake Maye throwing a TD pass to whoever plays for the Pats. I'll watch it on YouTube later on.Grahamburn wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 2:03 pmNo.Bootz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 1:55 pm

They control what is on and which game is being shown in that particular moment.
Yea, it sounds like fun for those who use it. Just not for me. I like being in control of what games I'm watching and I generally catch the highlights of other games on YouTube if I'm interested.acmillis wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 2:04 pmAbsolutely, 100% no. Seriously, those odds better be at least +1000
Yall just be ready with those apologies he's gonna demand from yall if his parlay hits.
