Agreed. Green Bay is missing 2 of their starting OL. But overall they are a great team. I think they take this one at home. Should be a great game either way.

Standing in the pocket trying to go through progressions is not Lamar's forte. don't know why they keep trying to make him do that.

In case you forgot what you said. This is again STATISTICALLY inaccurate. He’s one of the best QBs in the league from the pocket. If you’re changing your narrative, say so. Otherwise admit you lied here and move on.

first of all, I don't lie. i may occasionally misremember a stat or attribute a stat to the wrong player, but I don't lie. And I admit when I'm wrong about something like that without delay. So kindly stop with that "you're lying" nonsense. maybe that's part of your schtick, but I don't appreciate randos calling me a liar.


Second, what I aid about Lamar was/is accurate. he is not a great pocket passer. Not talking about PA, or RPOs just when he's forced to play from the pocket, go through his reads and throw on time.

In Greg Cosell's opinion, he struggles in this scenario mostly because he isn't very good at anticipatory throws. And we can see that in his pass selection and on tape, because he waits to see the receiver open, instead of throwing on time. his other issue is inconsistency with his accuracy. he regularly will miss bread-and-butter or layup throws because of his mechanics. a textbook example would be that Week 1 game vs. KC a year or two ago when he failed to connect with a receiver three straight times from close range and cost BAL the game.

And these issues are repeatedly on display throughout his career. All one has to do is go through his games and watch those drives where running is not an option.

And none of this is "just my opinion." Most pro analysts that I've regularly watched have said the same things; I arrived at the same conclusions after first listening/watching videos from several of those same experts.


Now, is he better from the pocket than he was at the beginning of his career? yes. I would hope so anyway, but he's obviously tried to work on that aspect of his game over the course of his career. Problem is, that he's not blessed with great timing and he's also not consistently accurate. it is what it is.

I wanted you to put your name on a quantifiable stat which could be measured to see if the trade were in fact "worth it" for GB.
