That's like every loss last year for the Bucs.

Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
Looking at that graphic, Buffalo followed by Philly would be my picks. If the Eagles get past us this Sunday, with 2 games against the Giants, they could easily go to week 10’s game vs Packers before losing.
But, yeah. The Bills have as cupcake of a schedule as you can expect in the NFL. If they don’t make it to the SB, that would be criminal.

Meh. He doesn't listen HOW we're unique. It's pretty subjective also saying "their best players". I mean how deep is that list and how does it compare to other teams. Like the 49ers are without their starting QB, top 2 WRs, all pro TE and lost their all pro edge rusher for the season. Which is worse? I'd say it's a lot easier replacing a Cody Mauch or Jalen McMillan than it is George Kittle or Nick Bosa.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 1:44 pmNumber of injuries isn’t the problem, it’s who is injured. Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
Based on the two lists, Kittle and Bosa would be more equivalent to Goedeke and Godwin in terms of how much they mean to the respective teams. I’d also argue Pearsall is the #2 WR on the team over Jennings at this point. More apt comparison if they were both injured would be Bartch and either Jennings or Robinson. Also ignores the fact that of the players mentioned for both teams Bucs have more on IR - both season ending and designated to return.Bootz wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 1:49 pmMeh. Fire the strength and conditioning coaches! RAhr!
Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
So, we’re now reduced to arguing about which team’s plethora of injuries are the worst, or most impactful?

So you think Kittle and Bosa are equivalent to Mauch and McMillan in terms of what their absence means to the team? Oh-kay, not sure if you're elevating the worth of the two Bucs players or downgrading the worth of the 49ers players.Bootz wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 2:33 pmBruh....................Pirate Life wrote: ↑Wed Sep 24, 2025 2:30 pm

Fact remains, as Auman said in his tweet, Bucs are unique among teams with injured players as the ones we have are among our better players as opposed to second string/third string/special teams guys making up the bulk of the injured lists.

I don't believe we are more injured than anyone. Our problem is that the injuries are all to our OL and WR rooms.
Hard to play with an OL that was looking for work in the Home Depot parking lot a week ago

Interesting chart on Edge rushers and draft classes from the last 5 years.
Not sure of the usefulness as it's obviously not taking sacks into account, but some guys are not where I'd expect them to be. Also obvious someone needs to teach Diaby how to finish. Surprised where Braswell is on this as well, didn't think he was that quick off the line.

Right! No favors at all. At least with the 49ers they have to travel cross country to come here. We're going 6 hours to Seattle while they've been sitting pretty at home with 3 extra days of preparation.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 9:04 pmLook who plays next Thursday. Yeah, slight silver lining there. Maybe the 49ers will head to Tampa three days early to acclimate to the heat. =)Bootz wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 11:22 amRight! No favors at all. I think he is what the 2023 draft thought Bryce Young was gonna be. Caleb has played extremely well this season and is taking that next step in year 2 that we haven't seen from QBs in a few years.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 11:17 am https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootba ... nfl-career

Drake Maye's quietly done the same. Williams is just written about more with all of the drama surrounding him since college and the debacle the Bears were last season.Bootz wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 11:40 amI think he is what the 2023 draft thought Bryce Young was gonna be. Multi-billion dollar enterprise and teams keep getting screwed over by not having enough cameras on the field:
Also, TJ Rives said the NFL would have overturned the Lazard catch but didn't have the angles that showed he didn't control it until after they'd made their call.
Still salty about the Pitts non-td from last year.

Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
From what the league said about the pylon cam, it’s a network issue. Broadcast crew decides on the cameras. But seems to me that if we have a replay system, NFL should dictate minimum camera coverage. Can’t be that pricy to have every game use pylin cameras and the replay officials in NY or wherever have access to every camera angle there is. If it can go on the Jumbotron, they should be able to see it.Central_Buc wrote: ↑Sat Sep 27, 2025 6:29 amIs this a Ray Jay issue or that our games are not properly equipped?Pirate Life wrote: ↑Fri Sep 26, 2025 9:22 pm Multi-billion dollar enterprise and teams keep getting screwed over by not having enough cameras on the field:

And refs on the field should be able to request a review during the last couple of minutes if the stadium replay shows they got the call wrong.

They do. Though we’ve seen an influx of folks that have moved out of SEA to PHX in the past couple three years, do a fair percentage of them are now probably locals. Kinda.
