It must be exhausting and beyond frustrating to be a Jet’s fan.

Yeah I don’t think Tyreek ever plays again. That looks done for

If the Dolphins win against the Panthers next week, Canales career is over.

CIN is done for the year. They look terrible. Hendrickson doesn't even look like himself, at all. like he's aged 10 years somehow.

It depends on the damage done to those ligaments and his meniscus. If he avoided a fracture, that'll go a very long way in his recovery. But I wouldn't expect him back for a very very long time.Primeminister wrote: ↑Mon Sep 29, 2025 9:52 pm Yeah I don’t think Tyreek ever plays again. That looks done for

Even before the injury (dating back to last season), he's taken a HUGE step back. Father time never loses and it looks like Mr. Time just collected another W.
My guess is he will not be able to pass a physical before next season starts, so more money just got locked in for him if that's how his contract was construed.

He's taken a step back production-wise, will be 32 years old when/if he's able to return and alienated an entire locker room this offseason.
My guess - Phins release him and he signs with KC for one year on a HEAVILY incentive based contract with something like 5m guaranteed.

Is that even an injury that he can come back from in a year?acmillis wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 2:46 pm He's taken a step back production-wise, will be 32 years old when/if he's able to return and alienated an entire locker room this offseason.

Think Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury. He wont be the same again. Very well could be a career ender. That means all of the ligaments tore and possible nerve damage as well.
EDIT: So apparently he may not need additional surgeries and avoided any nerve damage. That's great news in terms of a comeback. Long road I'm sure. But that fact that he was able to have surgery this soon is a good thing.

A guy his age that depends so much on otherworldly explosiveness? I'll take the under. Isn't this more or less the same injury as Marcus Lattimore from South Carolina? He never played a down after that.Bootz wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 3:12 pmThink Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury. He wont be the same again. Very well could be a career ender. Wow! Talk about a blast from the past. I remember that one. Lattimore's was worse though. He suffered nerve damage and IIRC was even at risk of losing the leg. Bridgewater was too I believe.Terry Tate wrote: ↑Tue Sep 30, 2025 10:08 pmA guy his age that depends so much on otherworldly explosiveness? I'll take the under. Word here is the 1 surgery Hill had is all he'll need. He has a very long road ahead and his age will play a factor. But the initial reports are promising.

The 3rd string QB is forcing the media to interview him? Interesting.

Good for him.
Why the hell is the media interviewing a 3rd string QB anyway?

Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
Nope, he sure isn't. However, he is choosing to react this way. Does this give him a better shot at starting for any team in the NFL when this is his reaction to "news?"

He could stand to do some imager recovery. There were reports that teams reached out and told him they wanted to draft him (Ravens were one I believe). He declined because he wasn't going to be handed a starting job.
(Unfairly) before the draft, he was hated on because of his name. He's not doing himself any favors at this point. I'm thinking if he does not start a game this season, he'll be out of the league after this year.

Why are people glossing over the big picture? HES THE 3RD STRING QB! Why is the media interviewing a 3rd string QB?!
How many other 3rd string QBs are getting interviewed?
