The Jaguars play the Chiefs tomorrow. If the Jaguars win, we all agree that Coen is that good?

I don't think anyone questioned whether he was "good" or not. Pretty sure he was offered a contract to make him the highest paid OC in the NFL.
The question was if he was ready to be a quality HC. It's far too early to crown him, but that would be an impressive win if he pulls it off.

Down to 1 undefeated team as Denver defeated the Eagles.

Jags seem rocky both in and off the field, and that's with things going well.

Cardinals lose, wild play: Cards intercept the ball, fumble trying to return and Titans recover in the endzone for a TD. Pick-6 with an offensive score.

Cards may be the most creative team in NFL history. As far as inventing new ways to lose, that is.

You know, back when I first moved to STL, that was the Cards last year in STL, and I went to one of their last home games. And they lost in a manner very similar to that play. "Same old Cards."

I know it's to early to call it but I did not have the Patriots bearing the Bills on my bingo card

Patriots aren't letting the undefeated Bills roll out the red carpet over their backs.

Think about this...
The Bucs haven't been in a winning game with a drafted QB since Jameis left.

Currently Drake Maye reminds me of the 2010 Josh Freeman.
What a spectacularly skilled athlete blossoming into a very good QB.
He is also showing why having a prototype body, arm strength and athleticism can mask a trash college tape.

And yet we manged to have drafted seven QBs who won games for the franchise in the time it took the Saints to get one. They went 27 seasons between wins by a QB drafted by them. In that time frame, we drafted 8 QBs. Saints drafted 10. I'll take 7 of 8 over 1 of 10 any day.

Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
Kind of a dishonest take when you had 15 years of a HOF QB in Drew Brees at the helm followed by Derek Carr. Meanwhile in that same 27 year period the longest consecutive starting QB for the Bucs IS Winston with 5 straight years.
Kind of a side note here. But is it just me or are there more meaningless, pointless stats being formulated this season than ever? It's like every week we're seeing stuff like "Player X is the 1st WR with 9 targets and catches, 183+ yards a 2 TDs". Like who's keeping track of this stuff?

Re: *OFFICIAL* NFL 2025 season Thread (teams other than our Bucs)
Not really dishonest, even with the 15 years of Brees they had ten drafted QBs start games with only one getting a win with the one Rattler got today. Carr was there for a grand total of two seasons and 27 games, that's 3 more than we got from Garcia when we signed him in FA. Saints had 7 starting QBs between the time Brees retired and Carr signed his FA contract in 2023.Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 12:18 am Kind of a dishonest take when you had 15 years of a HOF QB in Drew Brees at the helm followed by Derek Carr. During that time frame even with Brees playing fifteen seasons out of that 27 we only had three more QBs start games than they did, 23 to 20.

The Cardinals will never do anything as long as they have Murray at QB. He makes some spectacular plays from time to time. He's barely a mid-level QB.
How long will Miami allow the Playstation geek to be their head coach?
Titans fans are asking themselves why they let Vrabel go. Simple answer: bad ownership.

Blame the NFL if you don’t like it, they are the ones putting the stats out there for teams to use. The Saints QB one was provided to the broadcast team by the league.acmillis wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 10:40 am...in a game that started on the east coast at 4:05 p.m.Bootz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 06, 2025 12:18 am Kind of a dishonest take when you had 15 years of a HOF QB in Drew Brees at the helm followed by Derek Carr. "QB X is the 1st every to complete the Wendy's 4 4 4 challenge. 400 yards, 4 TDs, 4 incompletetions at 4 O'clock on the 4th day of the month".
The Saints one, as disingenuous as it is, is based in fact. I'm talking moreso about the stats. I saw one last week that Hurts was the 1st QB through 4 games with 5 TD passes and 4 TD runs. Like, is that supposed to be significant? And why wouldn't the numbers be the same? Why 5 and 4??
And then the one with Baker yesterday, 375 yards and fewer than 5 incompletions. 375 isn't exactly a milestone type number. If someone does the same next week and has 399 yards, are they gonna up date it to 395 yards?

Currently in stable condition. No details.

EDIT: In a bizarre twist, Sanchez has been arrested for his role in this incident.

Cool, so Mahomes can just go yell at the refs and they'll pick up obvious OPI penalties. Sweet!!
