Bucs vs 49ers discussion
Well, well, the 49ers are here in town, and they’re also dealing with injuries like us.
We should win that game.
Go Bucs!

I’m not sure. Let’s wait for the injury report on Wednesday or Thursday.mdb1958 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 8:34 amIs Jennings and Pearsall playing?Phantom wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:15 am Projected highest scoring game of the season?

Just what exactly is wrong with Izien's quad? Deep bruise? Is the knee hurt also?

Shanahan > Bowles
We've been exorcising demons so far this year though. Beating SF would be another.

These late game heroics are not a sustainable model. Would love to see a complete game on both sides of the ball and a decisive win.

Re: Bucs vs 49ers discussion
The 49ers are an anomaly. No INTs on defense. No rushing TDs on offense. Injuries and missed games by their starting QB, top 3 WRs, TE and yet they are 4-1 and the #1 passing offense in football. All of their games, like ours, have been close hard fought battles down to the wire.
I honestly don't know what to expect.

Re: Bucs vs 49ers discussion
Despite the injury, I believe the Seahawks are a better team than the 49ers. Since we beat the Seahawks, beating the 49ers should not be a problem.
Re: Bucs vs 49ers discussion
Did anyone actually watch SF play the Rams last week? I only saw one highlight reel. But LAR runs pretty much the same exact offense we do. Looking at the boxscore, I'm surprised that SF was able to score 17 pts on the LAR-D in the first half. But apparently they fixed their shit, because after the half, SF only managed 9 pts, including a FG in OT.

The Buccaneers have shown a great deal of 'not going to give up", but as the Jets showed on any given Sunday.

We’ll be okay. The Bucs will definitely win, regardless.

Rams secondary is... really bad. And that's with having a very good d-line and pass rush.Sooner06 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 2:32 pm Did anyone actually watch SF play the Rams last week? I hope to see their safeties exploited. We need to dog McCaffrey into frustration and get after that Alabama QB. We may see some Josh Williams this week.Pirate Life wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 4:14 pmRams secondary is... really bad. Re: Bucs vs 49ers discussion
And it wasn't pretty. Parrish struggled big time playing outside. Though I'd say the main problem was the Seahawks pass protection was iron clad. Our pass rush was non existent.
