The defender helped make him drop it with the hit.

Going from one of the best movers in the history of the position…to this. It is so hard to watch. I’m cringing watching most of his snaps this year. It is hard on the eyes.

And now Warner is hurt.

All these NFL injuries. Neurology, bodies getting accustomed to collisions and movement during contact (including protecting yourself from morbid movement) requires reps. A lot of reps. This enormously reduced practice regime (offseason, training camp, intraseason) in the NFL should have been predicted to increase brutal knee/ankle/hip/shoulder torque injuries and general soft tissue injuries (while potentially reducing head injuries).
You would think the players union would make some demands on all of this

He did, but didn't maintain control when he hit the ground.

Irving played most of his games without Wirfs on the field.

That should have been a late hit on the 49ers. White was out of bounds.

So 27 just gets a free shot 2.5 yards out of bounds?

The Hit Out of Bounds call is so inconsistently called. It needs to just be removed if it isn’t going to be consistently enforced .

Don't mind going for two with the penalty, but that was bad execution on the play.

Trying to put additional pressure on SF, I guess? not a fan of that playcall either, but i guess it's a live rep they can learn from.
