Didn't there used to be one of those "go sit in the corner" forums to temporarily send posters who the mod-squad felt crossed some arbitrary line in the sand, to temporarily "not-really-suspend" said poster(s)' posting abilities, short of banning? Intent being to put a pause on questionable behavior and to possible establish a dialog for explanation/warnings/etc.

I wanted to ask NYBF a question about his namesake real estate but for some reason, can't make contact. And that forum doesn't seem to exist.

I thought that was interesting so I looked, too. Maybe you and that guy from the shut down thread can come up with a list of things new people can and cannot do. It would probably go a long way to building up the community the crazy woman there wants.

The pissing contest between Mods and MB is way beyond dumb and needs to end. As was said, they're here to enforce rules, not run personal vendettas against board members. I'm not the biggest fan of MB. He'll tell you that. But what they are doing to him is wrong. Way wrong. Bibl's justification is no longer valid. Punishment was doled out. Even murderers get paroled.

Yeah that happened to me once on opening week and one of the mods thought I was spamming and sent me a scathing message. Thankfully, I let him know right away what was really happening and he was cool enough to tell me what to do if it happens again.
