I can remember watching a game a few years ago where Vick ran a TD while he was with the Eagles. Ball was in the out of bounds area of the field when he reached over in midair. Ruling was it was a TD because the goal line essentially was a line that went around the earth. Not sure when it changed to have to be on the inside or over the top of the pylon.
